Maybe I got "Coriander Indian" on a bad day. My first time getting their food wasn't that great.

Food: 🫕

I ordered "Shrimp Hakka Noodles" (12.99) - "Samosa" Meat & Vegetable - "Lamb Biryani" (16.99) and "Garlic Naan" (3.99).

Best things were the Hakka and Biryani. They were flavorful, fragrant, and well made. They provided good portions, too.

Worst things, however, were the Naan and Samosas. One thing that Indian restaurants do is stuff Samosas with spice filled vegetables.

These samosas were small, bland, and dry.

Naan bread is also commonly well baked. Here, they underbaked the bread. That resulted in doughy Garlic Naan.

I'm disappointed that I had to bake the Garlic Naan the rest of the way at home, and that the Samosas were unsightly.

Service: 🛍

These all arrived via delivery. Everything came sealed and packaged properly. I will say that the sauces were loose, so that could be changed by putting them in another bag.

Overall: While the main meals were good, the Bread & Samosa turned out bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to order from here again.

Alternatives: Check out Pink Garlic in Allen Park or Astoria House titled Golconda...

I made a pickup order for a chicken biryani entree and lentil soup. When I arrived, the restaurant seemed small but atmosphere was good, people eating and music playing. The couple or workers at the front were very friendly to greet me and had my order ready. I paid just a little over $20 which seems like a bit much for my meal but the portion was very good. A friend of mine was not so lucky with his portion going here so maybe it just depends what you order and if it's lunch or dinner but that was not my experience. I was able to save some for later as a second meal. The spices used and way both the biryani and soup was made tasted incredible. The biryani comes with a kind of yogurt cucumber sauce that was very tasty. Only complaint is I wish there was more sauce because it was so good and helped with the biryani which was just a little bit dry. Overall, I'm still dreaming of this meal and will definitely be back to try something else. Go and try it, Indian food...

At work we order lunch from an Indian restaurant every week. This is a new restaurant in the area & we thought of ordering food as it was also a coworkers birthday today. We ordered Lamb biryani (3), Chicken 65 (2), tandoori chicken (1), butter chicken (1) & 2 lunch boxes which came to $124.00. The biryani rice was soggy & they did not use basmati rice, the taste was nothing like biryani, it tasted like boiled rice. the chicken 65 was dry with no flavoring of 65, tandoori chicken & butter were totally bland. The person Islam when contacted about the poor quality food was very defensive & tried to come up with alibis. The food here is priced higher than other Indian restaurants, the containers are smaller & the quality is substandard. This is a rip off....I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sorry, we had a bad experience with this place. Please try to improve your quality of food. thank you

**Hope you do not...

I am highly upset because 1) I paid for Roti and got dry @$$ tortilla bread. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice the difference. The guy at the counter was pleasant but he even repeated my order to me, and failed to mention that they don’t actually don’t have roti. 2) I ordered butter lamb and although the lamb was tender the sauce was disgusting. It was absolutely too sweet- almost like syrup- and it was lacking a lot of the flavor. There was no type of spice whatsoever and this is what Indian food is known best for. I feel like it was a complete waste of $20- I couldn’t even finish it. And the rice to dish ratio was not enough. I doubt I’m going back to try anything else.

Wow! The food is incredible! This is my first time trying Indian cuisine. So yummy. The staff is very helpful. They answered my questions, made suggestions and the menu had some pictures to help newbies like me. You can pick your own spice level (mild, medium, hot, etc). I got the chili chicken (medium) and garlic naan (it had fresh herbs!) If you have not tried Indian food yet...you are missing out. I cant wait to try something else. Place was very clean. Staff was very nice.
