well, I seriously do not like to complain especially on social media sites, but .... Last night was the final straw. In the past 6 months I have has a terrible time getting what I ordered. About 85% of the time the order is messed up. And the worst part is no one at McDonald's seems to really care. In fact they seem irritated if I ask to have the mistake corrected. So about 9 pm last evening, on my way home, I ordered a large sweet tea with extra ice. I do (or used to) order this almost every day. I get home an take a drink and ICK it has artificial sweetener in it. I called the store and asked if in fact they had sweet tea with artificial sweetener in it. The answer was yes. I explained that I had ordered a regular sweet tea and was very disappointed to find it was the wrong kind. The answer was "I can't remember the last time today an diet sweet tea was ordered." I agreed, I hadn't ordered it that way, to which the same reply was stated, twice! As if I was the one who had made the mistake! Not and apology or offer to replace it, nothing. I love McDonald's sweet tea, but I almost never get it the way I order it (with heavy ice). And I ask when I get to the pick up window, and the answer is always "yea, it has extra ice" and often times it doesn't, sometimes it barely has any ice. But last night was the end for me. I will maybe try another McDonald's, but this one is directly on my way home, so maybe it would just be easier to give up sweet tea. I have been going to this McDonald's for 12 years, almost every day. But I have tried in every way I can think of the make sure I get my order right, too bad some of the employees don't really care. Some are very good and polite, helpful and try to have good customer service. The ones that don't ( and that number seems to be going up all the time) will drive away my business and probably others. Attitude is everything and being treated like a bother or as last night, just arguing the point, is rude. I know what I ordered, and I know I simply didn't get...
Read moreWe all know McDonald's is not the best food in it's genre. I do truly love their fries.
The location is excellent as it is right before you get on to the freeway ((or depending on your perspective) exiting the freeway).
However, the flavor and food are not always the reason we return to the same restaurant or local. Great customer service is more than often the reason. When someone can lift you up by smiling at you or give you a compliment and make your day better, that is when we tend to go back to the same establishment time after time.
This was not my first visit to this McDonald's and it won't be the last. Why? You ask why? I'll tell you. Because the employees at this location treat you with kindness, respect, and they do it in a jovial manner. A manner in which will make your day a better day.
I was running late for an appointment and stopped in here to get a late lunch for my son. He got two sausage egg McMuffin's with no cheese. The young man who took our order in the drive through had such joy you could actually hear his smile. Yes I could hear his smile in his voice. His name I believe was Jacob. As we pulled through he opened the window with a wonderful sunny disposition and huge smile. His joy was contagious and we all found our selves laughing and being blissful. I thanked him and told him that he had made my day more joyous.
I then drove to the next window to collect my food. And another very sparkling happy person named Kat gave me my food. I thanked her for being such an uplifting personality and for making my day brighter. I asked to speak with the manager so that the employees could get KUDOS. I spoke to the manager about his employee's. I wish I could remember his name but I don't. He too was an effervescent personality. He encouraged me to take the survey online. I had to just to let corporate know how wonderful these individuals all are.
Thank you all for being such an uplifting and positive delight...
Read moreThis is the only McDonalds I’ve ever been to who is consistently bad. They mess up your order, then are upset with you when it’s brought to their attention. This morning I repeated my order multiple times over the speaker in the drive thru (employee seemed irritated with me that she kept getting it wrong), she didn’t repeat my final order and dismissed me to the first window where I asked him to repeat the order. Of course she was missing a hash brown as suspected. In traditional fashion when I reached the 2nd window she handed me 2 out of 4 drinks (never asking if i needed a carrier so of course i had to ask when i was the only person in the car)I was told to pull to the side as not everything was ready. I asked for ketchup (last time the person yelled at me when they brought my food and I asked for ketchup) to avoid them going back and forth. When they finally brought my food there was no ketchup and I was still missing 2 of 4 drinks. She came back with 3 ketchup packets and my drinks. I asked for more ketchup as I had 5 hashbrowns, she was visually irritated but returned with more. Once I got on the road I found that 2 of our 4 drinks were not correct. Since they were a coffee and a latte I would not have been able to know without tasting them. So after spending $43 on 4 breakfast meals I had 2 drinks that we did not drink and a less than desirable...
