Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Sparta Township

I had so many issues with this store!

1+2) I called to ask about my order, and i was hung up on. I called back and was on hold for over 30 min. I ended up driving to the location, and when they asked " how can i help you " i showed them my phone and said " you could pick up", then 3 employees came to the counter to explain they are " slammed " but yet, on hold for 30 min and 3 people come to the counter? Don't sound too " slammed " to me! considering one was just standing around ON THEIR PHONE!

3. I simply asked that one pizza be cut smaller, into 16 instead of 8, it was for a small child, and they got defensive and said " it's against policy to do anything but 8 slices, we can NOT do it. They tried saying corporate would NOT allow them to take the extra few moments to cut it.

4. When I got to the store, the front doors were wide open and bugs were on the floor, and other derby. Not very sanitary if you ask me.

5. They were EXTREMELY rude the whole time. The manager even tried to make an excuse " oh this guys new, he put you on hold " It don't take special training to pick up a on hold call. They were just making excuses to be rude!

So, long story short, This store is very rude, makes excuses, and is kind of gross. If the one in rockford was open, i would have gone there instead. But, none the less, i will be making the trip to grand rapids instead of going to sparta! I love their food. I give their food a 4/5 on MOST occasions. Tonight I was calling to see if they were hiring and it hung up the first time, so I hung up and called back and the manager just said “2 hour wait on pizza and delivery” and hung up the phone before I could talk. I decided to call once more because I absolutely love this pizza place but I pretty much got screamed at saying she did not have time to speak. I understand completely why she was frustrated though, so I let it go and called another place. 2 hours later I get a call from the managers husband saying I am harassing and all that and I got her personal number, like what now? First of all, why is this being brought up? Second of all, I just was seeing if they hired. The manager is so rude and I am not the only one having issues with her. I just wish she was a bit nicer about it as I did get very hostile because I don’t approve of my number being given to a random man because I asked for a job? I told a bunch of people about it and they thought it was an issue and I should report it to someone above her, but all I really wanted was for her to apologize, not get so out of hand. It was a very immature manner that she took. Honestly I don’t know if I would buy here again. Maria’s is my go to...

To start i never leave reviews but i couldn't let this be. I come in and get a large pizza, i pay the card reader says approved. So i was surprised when i got a message from the general manager saying that my payment didn't go through. So before i call back i check my bank account, there is a pending charge for the same amount. I call and tell the general manager it did go through and she guarantees me that pending means it didn't and wont go through. I say let’s wait until Monday (it was Friday) and see if it goes through. She says it wont and it’s not an option. So instead of hanging up i pay again and explain i will be very annoyed to have to call back for a refund she didn't seem to care. Fast forward a week, both transactions went through as expected and now a second call and more of my time wasted for an 18$ pizza. The GM is very rude and hung up on me while i was explaining my displeasure as i said i would on the original call. So now i will never be back and everyone around the small town of sparta that i run into i will urge not to go there, all for 18$ that was paid all along.
