Ok, now that that's out of the way. The service was great, prompt, and friendly. There's a great local selection of craft on tap. They do some interesting apps - highly recommend the fries dough pizza for something unique. But let's talk about the main event - the burgers.

So I'm a purist, and a burger shouldn't be too thick, nor should it be medium. Sorry, that's the food safety expert in me. Therefore, to get a thick, juicy burger, use multiple thin cooked patties. Real experts will tell you a smash burger is the best way to get the juiciest but healthiest cooked burger. And these guys do it right. You can disagree, and that's okay, you can be wrong. It's your right. So if you want the juiciest burger, that is the safest way to enjoy beef, go here. Then, there's the toppings.....

I did the bacon jam burger. Wow. Excellent.

Little thing here I want to point out. I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes and lettuce on my burger. But here, get it. They dice the tomatoes, onions, pickles, and lettuce and it is the best way to do it. I will never do it any other way at home when cooking. Absolutely genius.

The fries were good - nothing crazy, and maybe slightly too much salt for some.

If I lived in Spencer, I'd be here weekly at a minimum. It was that good. As it is, it's going to make Spencer a destination, which is. Sentence I never thought I'd write.

Seriously, if you like a burger, you owe it to...

There's alot of thing I want to point out. My fiance and I got in before dinner service so it wasn't busy. But it took a good 15 minutes for a staff to acknowledge us while there were plenty of staff in the back doing nothing. There were about 5 waitstaff 2 bartenders and 2 hostess. We put in all of our orders in cause we knew this was going to be a long wait for everything.

For a "SMaSH Burger" I was expecting more quick dishing out food cause everything is prepared in advance and smashing the burgers it takes less time to cook.

Both burgers had diced pickles, tomatoes and onions which doesn't make any sense cause your wasting food that falls out of your sandwich and makes a mess. That should be left with making wraps. For the Cowboy burger I don't get why they needed to have two different styles of onions in the burger.

The real thing going for them are the cocktails and the draft beer. But they seriously need to take a step back and go through the menu again and retrain your staff cause everything needs to be improved..

Last thing... the dessert is a complete disaster. The Smash Apple Crisp is God awful. Burnt and...

I had Lunch here, and everything was top-notch! I ordered one of their “Let’s Not Complicate Things” burgers (lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles, along with two patties) without cheese, and it comes with a side order of their ‘Merica Fries.

The burger patties were crispy on the outside, but juicy and tender towards the inside. Their fries come in a cute little fry basket, and they’re seasoned with salt along with other spices. Great flavor on both!

The waitstaff were also polite and attentive!

All I can really say is, I recall a point in time after this restaurant first opened where they had so many customers that they actually had to close early in order to restock their supplies, and I DEFINITELY see why, haha!

You can also easily park across from the restaurant in the Shoppers’ Village and cross the street, so parking is a non-issue.
