Sakura Express — Restaurant in Spindale

Very disappointed in food and management. I asked if they had stopped using soy sauce in the fried rice. This was the whitest "fried rice" I have ever seen at any japanese restaurant I've patroned. The, I guess it was the manager, informed me (3 times) that their rice was not as dark as chinese fried rice. I told him we have eaten at this establishment several times. He then told me "it depends on who is cooking". My teriyaki chicken was cold and old, but I didn't even bother to let him know as he obviously thought I was delusional and didn't know the difference between japanese and chinese. Had he even just have offered to take it back and put it back on the grill and cooked it off in some soy sauce I would have not even posted this. Only excuses! This establishment has went down hill so bad over the last couple of years. Our past 3 to go orders the quality of food has been bad. After spending $42.47 on 2 entrees and a crab rangoon appetizer and leaving almost my entire plate on the table this was our final straw. We will not be coming back. Sakura is closer to home, however, we will go back to Fuji's from now on. It is obvious the owners have made their money and have left their establishment in the hands of "americanized mexicans". The food is good. The portion sizes were good. The customer service wasn't very good. And it had a long wait. The way the drive-thru works once you've ordered you have to pull forward so that the next car can go ahead and order. The guy came out to deliver food to the person that was in front of me and wanted me to pull around which meant that I had to go out into the road again and then back into the parking lot on the other side and wait. So that just kind of turned me off of the place. The road in front of the restaurant is kind of busy during this time of day. The food is good. Too bad the staff is rude as hell! The guy at the window NEVER says hi, thank you, nothing! I went at 12p to drive thru. No cars in parking lot except a couple in the back, probably employees. I ordered 1 sushi roll. I waited 20 mins in the parking lot and no order.
