Worst food I think I've ever had from a Zip's - and I mean the WORST EVER.
Zip's was my first job when I was a kid and I took pride in what I served. I never made food that I would not eat in the same manner it was served. This staff has so much to learn and obviously so does the management and ownership. My visit did not even meet the poorest of standards, and that's quite a statement.
Order: 2 Papa Joes, Large Fries, 2 cups of Tartar Sauce. I received my order at 9:35pm in the following condition: 2 Cold Papa Joes, a very stale and cold bag of fries, no napkins and worst of all, the lid was not on one of the cups of tartar sauce, so when I tried to pull my fries out after I got onto Pines rd, I got tartar all over my hands, my lap, it was all over inside of the bag and all over my truck as it dripped off of the bag of fries. When I began searching for a napkin in the bag, it got worse as every move inside of the bag was met with a puddle of tartar sauce because the tartar was already all over the bag inside and you guessed it......NO NAPKINS at all.
So I drove while trying desperately not to ruin the steering wheel and door handle on my truck, then at home (less than 5 min from Zip's), my Papa Joe's were extremely cold, not an ounce of heat to them at all. So, I microwaved them just to be able to have a meal, after I got home and cleaned up the mess in my truck and changed my clothes.
I made a phone call to the store at 9:52pm......No Answer. So far, 45 minutes later, no call back after leaving a message to receive a return call. Not only will I NEVER GO BACK to this Zip's, but if I don't get a call back by Monday morning, I'm going to pursue this to a higher level. After I was unable to get anyone on the phone, and knowing they were still open and not at all busy, I took pictures to not only show the condition of the bag, food, etc and to document what had happened, but also to show that the tartar that did have the lid, was very messy and it appeared it was a used container - was only 1/4 full and looked like someone had been swiping fries with it already. I kept the entire bag and it's contents to be able to go back and show management, provided they call. So......ZIPS, Here's your chance to make this right......

Read moreNormally, I actually do like this location, but tonight was not their night. First off, I should have known something was amiss when the car in front of me ended up getting tired of waiting at the drive thru window, they actually drove off without their food. I’m unsure of how long they had already waited, but I was waiting behind them for at least 10 minutes before they left. Then, once I get up at the window, the employee tries to get me to pay for the previous persons meals, which was a lot more. Then, I waited for roughly another 10 minutes, before I saw the car behind me apparently back out of the drive after they had already ordered the food. Roughly another 5 minutes later, we receive our food. Once they started handing out my food order, I was in such awe receiving the sundaes, which were supposed be be kids size, I didn’t even notice that they didn’t hand out the drinks for my kids. Of course, I realized this 15 minutes later when we are home and my kids are asking for their drinks.....🤦♂️. Chicken strips were severely over seasoned, fires slightly undercooked, as well as the mozzarella sticks and corn dogs being undercooked. Read moreCame through today 11/8 for 2 cones and 1 fry and the girl Torri -Maybe slept wrong- was extremely rude. No greeting and when I finally ordered after everything was sure, sure, sure not even asking if I'm done no total or is there anything else I can get you, nothing. So I pull up and she couldn't even be bothered. No hi, hello, nothing. Wouldn't even extent her arm outside of the window to give me my order. So I finally just said you need to work on your customer service and she slammed the window in my face. Never again will I support this local zips. I'll go to another one who's owned by other locals and who employees people who actually have customer service skills.
I read the reviews and it seems like a lady is always the complaint in the drivethru- I'm willing to bet it's this Torri girl. Managment really needs to address this girl. Absolutely rude, disrespectful and dismissive. But since there are no responses from the owners or managers on the reviews I imagine they probably don't care...
