This is an edit to my previous review. The owner and waiter Sergio is not only a friendly person; he's been good to me on many occasions, even when I've not been my best. This guy is my amigo (friend). Also to my friend that I brought along this last Friday too. Eversince he started up, he has been my go to for a healthy and filling Mexican lunch. Very positive atmosphere, very uplifting. It's not only the food that is great too. It's the Spanish culture that I just fit in with very well. Sergio is a very warm, happy, and welcoming person while others are not.

I also want to add that eversince I have been here in January, the place now has a green, orange, and white color on the outside instead of the blue. And the inside is orange, green, and white. And some red. This blends in really well along with the dangling lamps with woven hats and a few classical guitars and violins on the wall. This place is starting small but continues growing everyday.

Of course for the food, it feels like a real taste of Mexico which is somewhere I would like to move. The burritos are 20 inches long, they are huge, and they are still relatively low priced. Don't waste your time with Taco Time and Taco Bell, these guys use authentic ingredients and their chips and salsa are much better. One monster burrito here leaves you full. If you go to SCC, do not even bother with Sodexo, their food is nasty! Come here instead, it is a small walk across the street and for slightly less, you leave full.

If you do hit the drivethrough, the minute or two wait is not going to hurt you. Real food freshly prepared with authentic ingredients is better than stale pre made food. If you go inside, the place is clean and well kept. If you've got time constraints, it is understandable. Yet if you have a lot of time on your hands, you will like this place a lot and dining in will give you the best experience.

I come here as often as I can to hang out and eat with a friend who is the most positive guy I met. And at the end of the day, I know I will always come back as soon as possible to do it all again. Thank you Sergio and everytime I am in the area, you will have me in the area...

There are quite a few competitors in the Mexican restaurant battlefield of Spokane. There a couple things that set this restaurant a full foot above their competition.

Quality: The food is made with quality ingredients throughout. Which is honestly surprising considering not one of their burritos is over $10. The red and green sauces are both unique and crafted with a better texture and taste than any I have had before. I am not talking a little better, but enough that it makes me wonder if I have ever really had legitimate sauces before.

Staff: The energy of the staff is lively and vibrant. Communications between the chef and the front of the house can be heard and only take a positive tone. Service is quick and done with care. I have received my order within 5 minutes each time and always with some smiles and jokes along the way.

DO NOT let the building fool you or the neighborhood dissuade you. This is a classic "hole in the wall" kinda of place and is one that the smart consumer uses to wow their friends and family with a, unexpectedly, delicious meal.

Just try it once, the food will...

This place is Soooo good! The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding and the quality is very fresh and flavorful. I had the steak chimichanga loco and it was crazy good and huge. I cannot say enough about how tasty the outside of the chimichaka was and you could tell everything was really fresh and packed with flavor. For the chimichanga with steak and getting it loco (which means sour cream cheese and salsa) I paid $13.85. For the size of the chimichanga I would think it would be so much more.

The staff was so accommodating. I am one of the rare special people in the world that is actually allergic to rice lol and surprisingly a lot of places will not accommodate me asking for no rice. Burrito House was so accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everything was exactly like I had asked. They were pleasant and friendly and I look forward to trying many more dishes. I highly recommend...

Formerly Burrito Loco, the new Burrito House is outstanding. This place is busy, and it’s easy to see why - the food is delicious. The staff is friendly and was working at a mile-a-minute, but service was excellent. This place is clean and I observed one of the staff taking the time to wash their hands before filling a drink order. Nice to know they care about that kind of thing. Definitely some of the better Mexican style food I’ve eaten in Spokane. A not-so-hidden gem! At the corner of Mission and Greene, this unassuming little restaruant offers great food at a very reasonable price. Beautiful presentation with ample portions and excellent service inside of a very clean establishment.
