I recently visited Meeting House Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a coffee shop that is tucked away on a residential street in Spokane's Perry District. I had no idea it even existed until a friend suggested it as our meeting spot! I am sure glad she did. The menu has something for everyone - delicious and creative coffee and tea drinks, pastries, and even a variety of toasts for lunch. I enjoyed a freshly brewed iced tea, and my friend had a Chai - both were perfect and refreshing! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a modern flare. There is plenty of indoor seating, yet I cannot wait to return and enjoy the spacious outdoor patio. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need any assistance deciding what to order. Overall, Meeting House Cafe is a great spot for breakfast or lunch or simply meeting for coffee that I would definitely recommend trying out!

It was a great spot to meet up. Comfy seating. Good atmosphere. Didn't feel like coffee so will have to be back to try it out. Could be a good future potential place to hang out in-between my signing appointments. Friendly staff. Desserts and pastries looked delicious. Ordered the chicken pesto panini and the daily soup was tomato bisque. Both were full of flavor and delicious. Perhaps the one thing missing for me is veggies in the sandwich. You can opt for a side salad instead of soup... I liked the ample seating. I do think they should carry two drink glass sizes. There is a water station, but if having a business meeting then you can't exactly get up and refill and I generally need like 10 times those tiny shot glass sized glasses.

The staff was super nice and helpful! Beans are rather bitter and not very enjoyable, they were able to make me a cold drink that masked it for the most part. The food on the other hand is absolutely fantastic and super flavorful!! Caprese toast, breakfast croissant, the english cream scone and custard danish are all deliciousssss and highly recommended!!!!!

Firstly, they really do make good coffee and anassumingly take care in having good quality coffee. The environment is purpose built to provide a quiet and comfortable spot to work, or visit. Unlike our other beloved character-rich neighboring coffee house, the meeting house has furniture that is not sticky and does not have legs that will fall off when you are sitting on them, they are not covered in dog hair and human sebum. The music is tempered to the customers and not the employee of the hour obnoxious garage band music. Flies will not fly onto your mouth while you are talking and there is actual up to code electrical sockets to plug your devices into rather than eclectic extention cords strewn about the place. The bathrooms and over all conditions are extremely clean. You can can wear white here if you like. And whoever does the hiring picks, not just one, but a number of proffessional, freindly and neighborly folks all working to ensure...

This place makes me sad. I was chased out of here a few months ago because I did not have a mask and they were making customers pay for one. Now masks are magically a thing of the past, but this morning I was chased out when I tried to come inside with my dog for 2 minutes to place an order and then go back outside. They told me dogs were not allowed even to simply place an order and they could come outside and take my order but they acted like it was a big imposition. (By the way, your online order menu does not include food). I live just down the street and would love to support this place, but I am unfortunately done trying so hard to give a small business my business when they clearly don't want it. They care more about their rules. Thankfully there is a very welcoming coffee shop...
