Firstly, they really do make good coffee and anassumingly take care in having good quality coffee. The environment is purpose built to provide a quiet and comfortable spot to work, or visit. Unlike our other beloved character-rich neighboring coffee house, the meeting house has furniture that is not sticky and does not have legs that will fall off when you are sitting on them, they are not covered in dog hair and human sebum. The music is tempered to the customers and not the employee of the hour obnoxious garage band music. Flies will not fly onto your mouth while you are talking and there is actual up to code electrical sockets to plug your devices into rather than eclectic extention cords strewn about the place. The bathrooms and over all conditions are extremely clean. You can can wear white here if you like. Read moreI recently visited Meeting House Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by this gem of a coffee shop that is tucked away on a residential street in Spokane's Perry District. I had no idea it even existed until a friend suggested it as our meeting spot! I am sure glad she did.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a modern flare. There is plenty of indoor seating, yet I cannot wait to return and enjoy the spacious outdoor patio.
The staff are friendly and helpful if you need any assistance deciding what to order. Overall, Meeting House Cafe is a great spot for breakfast or lunch or simply meeting for coffee that I would definitely...

Now masks are magically a thing of the past, but this morning I was chased out when I tried to come inside with my dog for 2 minutes to place an order and then go back outside. They told me dogs were not allowed even to simply place an order and they could come outside and take my order but they acted like it was a big imposition. (By the way, your online order menu does not include food). I live just down the street and would love to support this place, but I am unfortunately done trying so hard to give a small business my business when they clearly don't want it. They care more about their rules. Thankfully there is a very welcoming coffee shop...
