Sam & Dom's is a very cool neighborhood bar that all the locals go to and hang out during the day for their lunch and a beer after work and at night the younger more urban crowd comes to to enjoy their favorite music on the jukebox on Wednesdays there are pool tournaments for any ball which you basically shoot any ball in and you can win some money and it's super fun the place is packed buzzing with Good vibes and it's kind of like the Cheers bar where everybody knows your name when you walk to the door people treat you really really good I took my dad there when he first had moved to town and he wasn't from there he basically made friends the first day he had got out of the hospital he felt so good that he had made friends that he had in common with things and he could talk to them and look forward to seeing them there again I basically took him there every week for the pool tournament and every weekend for a drink and some food he made plenty of friends and he passed recently and now everybody asks about him constantly and it feels so good that people cared about my father I Love this bar I haven't went that much in a while because of covid but I guarantee once all the stuff is over I will be back they have wonderful food great bartenders awesome customers and the vibe that makes you come back again and again this bar is a friendliest neighborhood bar I've been to it ever I've been coming here since I first moved to town another bartender from another bar I believe the red dragon and Chinese bar recommended that go there she said hey this is a place would you like and she told me to go there and check it out and ever since I've been going she obviously knew those are my type of people! So I highly recommend stopping by Sam and Dom's once you stop by you'll keep coming back because everything there is a super awesome! Thanks Sam &Dom's for being a cool bar you are and making us feel like family you sure made my dad's day every time...
Read moreI'm new in town haven't been going to the bar very often always had great service from Christy and the morning girl but went there in the afternoon had a different bartender woman and was treated terribly she was more interested in socializing then she wasn't doing her job. I waited for 16 minutes for a drink and when I tried to signal her she told me I have to wait my turn. I have been a bartender all my life I have never ever told somebody they had to wait their turn you acknowledge them and tell them you'll be right with them even if you can't be. Will not be going back there because I never know when she might be working. Also I was very very specific in what I wanted and she just gave me what she thought I heard then when I told her that's not what I ordered I had to pay...
Read moreEverything this guy likes in a friendly-neighborhood bar. It is on a main thoroughfare--and I'm sure most people just keep driving by, because of being in an out-of-favor location; but, we're regular folks, so...
It's tiny inside! That kinda surprised me, but when I saw they've been there since 1946, I understood. Really great gals are running the joint, and they will cook you up some nice griddle fare if you have the patience to wait. All in there acted like we were regulars, and I have never set foot inside till today, haha. We sat at the bar, and enjoyed the banter and sports on TV. Food was satisfying, hot, and better than you would expect from a lil' joint like this. Perfect place for me and one of my sons to bust a lunch out on a Monday afternoon...
