I placed an order online for three subs - a bowl with lunch meat, a cheese steak and a gluten free sub. They said 25 minutes before it would be ready. I got there after 20 minutes and when I arrived they said they still had to make my order. So I waited and again in 5 minutes saw mine was not being made so asked how much longer. The girl said snotty "Oh she has a gluten sub and I have to clean the meat slicer" The manager put on a pair of gloves and was slicing the meat for my gluten free sub without cleaning the machine with all bread crumbs all over it. I said "I do not want it as I would get sick". He said "I put on gloves" Apparently this store has NO KNOWLEDGE of what gluten free means - a slicer full of bread crumbs can make someone with an allergy SEVERELY SICK! I only took the cheese steak and lunch meat bowl and when I got home the cheese steak was the size of a 1/4 sub! I ordered a regular 1/2 sub. Furthermore if you say you're going to have an order ready in 25 minutes and it's not even being worked on after 20 minutes, it is not acceptable. Especially for the price you charge for your subs! It's a shame because your subs used to be good. But the customer service at this location has always needed work and I can see it continues to keep...

I ordered three different Ham and Provolone subs done three different ways - A Gluten free one, a regular one with extra O&V on the side, and one with only ham and provolone, seasonings and O&V. However, with my first bite I noticed it was not the ham I usually get. I believe it was Capicola ham? There were several different meats and one seemed like Pepperoni. As I did not like how it tasted I ended up not eating it. My picky 13 year old immediately said I don't like this ham it's not what I usually get the ham had a black edge on it which usually there is no edge on her ham. She picked off the ham and threw it away. My husband's sub was extremely dry and there was no oil and vinegar on the side or included in the bag. Read moreI will never order from here again. Went in the Spotswood store and my inner soul told me, "just leave". I didn't listen & I know better, I worked in the food industry for years. Thr Cross contamination was insane. I watched the same cutting board being used sandwich after sandwich without being wiped off. If a vegetarian goes in & orders Tuna they'd get sick, the same knife was used for meat sandwiches & for the tuna. Gloves were never changed by any of the 4 workers. Cashier wore the same gloves he was making sandwiches with & then taking dirty money & touching the cash register screen with. Plus his gloves were ripped & his hand was exposed. The tuna was watery, either the tuna wasn't drained or the lettuce wasn't dried after being rinsed, if it was even washed. Ever bite I took the mayo dripped out, it was so watery it looked like milk, I couldnt finish the half of sub I ordered. No wheat bread. I can go on.
