Mi Familia — Restaurant in Spotswood

The food is simply wonderful, I have ordered from them many times, and they really make sure to get your order correct and avoid allergens, making changes to recipes as you need with no complaint. I finally went in to the location (though got it to go, which is why the pictures are in takeout containers) and was very pleased with the environment! It is obviously a family establishment, and the decorations really do scream AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. The service was lovely, my girlfriend and I were served fresh tortilla chips and verde sauce as we waited. Also, whatever their red hot sauce is, is simply amazing! I took a bite of my order with some of the sauce on it, and started sweating! I swear, that's a GOOD thing! Absolutely will order again, and plan on returning to eat...

Fantastic food, and it was so fresh. Granted i have ordered at peak times, but i will say i wouldnt even question ordering in here when they are slow. I cant remeber what i had ordered the first time if i remeber correctly it was tappas, and they where steaming hot and fresh off the grill. Recently when i had gone in this week i ordered a burrito, the girl apologized and said they were making a big order, in no rush i waited for mine to be completed as well. "Good things come to those who wait". It was a fantastic burrito complimented with fresh veggies and salsa that was just the right amount of kick. The only thing i missed was this time was the delicious chips. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area to give them a try for a taste of fresh...

Unfortunately I have to leave a bad review. The food is decent but I ordered food at 6:30pm and still didn't have my food by 8:50pm I called and the employee on the phone said it was out for delivery. Another hour passed and I called back and another employee said oh I'm sorry the order never went through. Unacceptable to me especially on a $120.00 order. I'm still here waiting for my food. I called back again and kind of expected an apology or maybe a few dollars taken off the price for the extremely lengthy wait. Very unprofessional.
