I am going to write this review with a grain of salt as if you've ever met this guy who runs this kiosk and does the repair, he is a very unhappy and miserable man. I don't know if it was just a bad day or if he is chronically miserable but I'll tell my experience. I came in to ask for a thin watch band for my watch. He rudely said they dont make thin bands for my watch (which is untrue, as I "did" get one from a legit company in Edison) and was dismissive. He showed me a band that was thicker than I wanted, so I left. I returned about 10 minutes later as I wanted to see the band again and this time thought what the heck I'll just buy it. This is where this funny lil guy gets agitated....I looked at the loop in the band where you tuck in the fit and it was torn and poorly mended back together. I mentioned hey this is torn and he took it back and turned it over and said on "this" side no one can see its torn. I was like "well do you have another that isn't torn?" He grabbed it from me and said "This is the only one we have!" He also followed it up with " You annoying and you don't know what you want" ......(made me smirk a bit)..... This funny lil man did make me smile a bit but I said...I "DO" know what I want, but you're just upset that you DON'T have it and I don't want to buy your torn poorly mended product (and if your going to mend a leather watch band, do it so it look un noticable). Anyhow, safe to say this lil kiosk is not the place to go for jewelry repair as the temperament of shaky lil dude is prob not someone you want to trust with valuables. But...once again, this "could " have been an off day but regardless, telling a customer that they are annoying when "they're" the one trying to pass on a shotty product probably wont...
Read morei work in the mall a few kiosks down. we are a jewelry store however we don’t repair jewelry only replace it, so of course whenever a customer needed repairs we would send them right down to him thinking we are being helpful giving him business and just being friendly until today. for reference all the stores put their sales and promotions on a vacant kiosk by panera to help increase business. because it was just labor day weekend our promotion was buy one get one 75 percent off, that being said we had flyers we handed out and left on the kiosk as mentioned before so it was surprising to find those exact papers all over our kiosks floor and around it this morning. come to find out it was repairs by nathan who had rudely thrown them in before we opened. not sure if you realized but smile you’re on camera nathan!! not only that he had also thrown them all around the mall according to the kind janitors here who had to clean up his mess with our name on it. we have never done anything to him to be rude in the past so this is so out of pocket and plain disrespectful. my recommendation is if you want a kind and personal experience don’t go here listen to the rest of the majority 1 star reviews. they’re there...
Read moreOne star is too generous actually. I should have read the previous bad reviews bc I would have avoided this situation altogether. I went to the kiosk and the man didn’t even get up. I had to lean over the counter to give him my watch. It was a brand new watch before he changed the battery and added a few links back. The battery was $10 dollars and the links he usually charges $8 but have me a deal. $15 altogether and cash only. I went to put the watch on and the watch face including quartz crystal face was all scratched up. I know he would have argued with me if I wanted to return it so I just left really mad. I called a few jewelers to se if they could buff it out. They said it’d be more than the cost of the watch to repair ($300 Michael Kors watch) and you can’t buff out two tone stainless steel. Thanks for that Nathan! I’m very disappointed I always try to support small businesses but this experience was not good. I hope this helps...
