Hey your local york guide here with my newest review. I came in to this local dominos trying to find an easy cheese and pepperoni pizza. Ive noted there is a large amount of reviews stating a similar rude lack of customer service from this establishment before i give my review. I approached the counter and was not greeted. The employees were arguing over being short staffed. I counted 5 employees all working on pizza. I stood for 5 minutes waiting and the delivery driver returned to the store and said has he been helped another female employee with many tattoos on her neck and hands said no dont worry about it. she then tried to help and this other girl who was working in the back with the tattoos said no go back to deliveries were busy. So i waited then same angry girl approached me with no name tag so i cant reference who she is. She said what do you want in a very much leave we dont want your business tone. I simply said hey could you tell me if you have any specials or deals running right now. She responds ugh omg... like me asking this was about to ruin her life. Then said can you just tell me what you want and be specific already. So i said ok i can just look online if you dont know and she then said them but was very angry about it. I placed the order and she glared at me. The rest of the employees seemed afraid to speak. She then stormed off out the back. I try to be fair with all reviews but it is hard to say if this is normal here or not but ive found these instances are usually brought on by poor management and or lack of care from the top to bottom. Id say to be safe and avoid dealing with the employees and use take out or one of the other pizza stops in the area. Pizza hut is about a mile in relation to here. The food was average with an uneven spread of toppings amd felt rushed even though it took longer than 30 min...
Read moreAbout 1X a month I order pizza & sides for my daughter & coworkers who work at the hospital. Tonight I thought I would surprise my daughter & send them pizza. I ordered online & Added a tip. Paid with a credit card. The tracker wouldn't work. After a bit I called & asked if they knew it was going to the ER & the lady told me yes they will see it in the instructions I put on there for delivery. I had missed a call from the Domino's number so I called back thinking there was a problem with the order. I asked if it had been delivered. They said no it is sitting here because you called and changed the order to carry out. I didn't! I am 200+ miles away in my apartment by myself...no one else here...they said it was a man that called from my number that changed the order. There is no one here but me! No one could have used my phone. Some other lady came on the phone & still insisted I changed the order because she could see on caller ID that they received a call changing the order. I don't know if there was a glitch in there system or what because the tracker never worked. Instead of apologizing for something going wrong...they blamed me! I said can someone deliver it? She said well I don't know if we have any drivers now to deliver it. What? That's what you do! So I told them to cancel the order. Food & Bev Total: $33.75 Tax: $2.17 Bottle Deposit: $0.00 Delivery Charge: $2.50 Tip Amount: $5.76 Total: $44.18 They apparently don't need orders like this. I won't order from this Domino's again! Read moreI mostly order from here because they deliver late at night. Today, I placed my order at 10:33 pm and requested contact less delivery because I am strictly maintaining social distance. The order was supposed to be delivered by 11:09 pm and I waited but it was 11:30 pm and I still haven't received my order and on the app it says that the order was delivered. I called the store and I said that I don't mind even if my order is a little late but make sure that you don't knock on my door and leave it outside. The person said the delivery person is carrying two orders and will be there soon. I said okay and that I'll call be in 20 mins if I don't receive it.
Another 30 mins pass and I keep an eye on the doorm and I still have not received my order. So I call the store and after a brief while the person says that my order is at my door. So I double check and it's guess what it's not there. The person politely said that they would replace my order and have somebody else deliver it. But tbh at this point I was annoyed and hungry. So I just ask them to cancel my order and issue me a refund.
In conclusion, I would say really bad service for such a big brand. I am giving 1star just because the customer support was really nice and polite. But I don't think I'll ever order from this...
