This is a biased opinion, as we had the opportunity to have Chef Guru prepare an off menu dish for us. Having grown up in Little India (United Kingdom), I have been immersed in Indian food, culture all my life. It does not make me an expert, but Indian food is as ubiquitous as Fish & Chips, and a good chef was followed from one restaurant to another. Also making our own Indian food for many years, has kept us away from most Indian restaurants, I know how they have to operate to keep the dishes coming out, nothing against that, but Indian food is like sorcery, a flick of the hand of one spice, a peck of another, and a sizzle of pods dancing in the ghee. Go and experience a taste of India, don’t be afraid to family style with friends and share each others dish to get the maximum experience. Please remember, just because we call Indian food spicy does not mean it has to make you sweat, that only dulls you experience, and you miss out on so many of the subtle flavors. Try eating your main course with just plain naan bread, don’t be afraid to get your fingers covered in gravy. I have seen Middle TN grow from a handful of Indian restaurants in the 90’s starting with the Curry Club off old Hickory/I65 to now the move south This will be one restaurant that I will be back to, I think it can replace the odd home cooked Indian dish, especially if it keeps consistent delivery of taste.

My wife and I heard there was a new Indian restaurant in Spring Hill and we couldn’t wait to try it. Firstly, it was a challenge trying to find the restaurant since it still reads “BONFIRE Mongolian Grill..”, but we were able to find it. The chef was awesome, he came to our table and he was making conversation with us and I had mentioned I wanted to try something that I saw online “Masala Dosa”! Which is like a huge wrap filled with potatoes and seasoning that you dip into sauces. It was amazing and I highly recommend. I ordered the Boneless Chicken Biryani and my wife order Chicken Tikki Masala, both of our dishes were awesome! The only reason I gave this restaurant a 4 instead of a 5 is our server was no where to be found after we received our food. We had to ask the food runner for extra napkins and a refill for my wife’s drink. When we were finished we had to ask the other waitress for some boxes and she also helped us get our check, not sure what her name was, but she had tattoos and a pony tail. We look forward to returning again and we just think maybe our service was just a fluke since the restaurant is still fairly new.

This place is amazing! As a lover of Indian food for 30 years, I give this place two thumbs up! The ambiance is casual and they have a lot of room for larger parties and they even have a full bar! The staff is accommodating, they know the menu well and can explain it to those who aren’t familiar with Indian cuisine. I always order medium spicy. It’s not too hot, yet it accentuates the flavors. Indian spice hits different than Mexican spice. You’ll feel it on the top of your head, instead of your tongue and palate being on fire. It’s great for clearing your sinuses! I often get the Chicken Tikka Masala but you really can’t go wrong with any of the dishes. The Garlic Naan or Butter Naan is a great appetizer and I enjoy dipping it in the curry sauces. It’s great to have our very own Indian restaurant here, in Spring Hill and not have to drive all the way to Cool Springs! I highly recommend and look forward to introducing more of my friends to this amazingly delicious cuisine.

Title: A Culinary Journey through India at Aha Indian Grill - Spring Hill

Overall Rating: 4.7/5 Stars

My recent visit to Aha Indian Grill - Spring Hill was nothing short of a memorable gastronomic experience. This restaurant offers a vibrant and authentic taste of Indian cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of India.

Ambiance (4.5/5): Aha Indian Grill features traditional Indian décor with warm colors, beautiful artwork, and comfortable seating. The dim lighting and soft Indian music playing in the background create an intimate and welcoming environment, perfect for a dinner with friends or family.

Service (5/5): The service at Aha Indian Grill was exemplary. Our server was not only polite and attentive but also had an in-depth knowledge of the dishes and their ingredients. They were more than willing to make recommendations and cater to our dietary preferences.

Food (4.5/5): The food at Aha Indian Grill is truly a celebration of flavors. We started with the Vegetable Samosas and Paneer Tikka, both of which were crispy and well-seasoned. For our main course, we indulged in the Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer, accompanied by garlic naan and basmati rice. The spices were perfectly balanced, offering a rich depth of flavor without being overpowering. The naan was soft and fluffy, the perfect vehicle for scooping up the delicious sauces.

Price (4.5/5): The prices at Aha Indian Grill are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. While it may not be the cheapest option in town, the dining experience and flavors make it well worth the cost.

In conclusion, Aha Indian Grill - Spring Hill offers a delightful Indian culinary experience with its delicious food, warm ambiance, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a flavorful and authentic...

My friend and I ordered takeout from Aha Indian Grill in Spring Hill last night. It was our first time trying the “new place” and they’ve only been open for 3 weeks. My friend is an avid Indian food eater but since I’m new to this type of cuisine, I ordered everything as mild. (You can get mild, medium or hot.) Here’s what we shared: Chili garlic naan, Eggplant curry, Badami tikka chicken, Paneer biryani. Our food was delicious!

What impressed me more than the food, was their excellent customer service. Not only were they friendly, kind and appreciative when taking and picking up my order, they did something that I’ve never had a restaurant do before. I ordered the food mild but when my friend and I started to eat the items, we quickly realized that there was a mistake with the Paneer Biryani. It wasn’t mild, it was HOT! Super spicy (even my friend thought so)! Ironically, I enjoyed it and ate it. No big deal because mistakes can happen. About an hour or so later, I received two calls (back to back) from a number I didn’t recognize. I called it back and it was Aha restaurant. They realized their mistake and called me to make sure I was okay! They apologized profusely and said that sometimes, people who aren’t used to that level of spicy can feel nauseous so they wanted to make sure that I was feeling okay and asked if there was anything I needed. Again, apologizing for their mistake. As I mentioned above, their food is excellent but it’s hard to find a place with this level of customer service. Thank you, Aha. I will happily support this new restaurant in...

First and foremost, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and authentically Indian. Every dish that graced our table was a delight to the senses. The menu offered an extensive variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, allowing everyone to find something to suit their taste buds. The flavors were exquisite, and it was evident that the chefs had perfected their craft. Each dish was meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients, aromatic spices, and a perfect balance of flavors.

The standout dishes for me included the fragrant Biryani, with its tender meat and fragrant basmati rice, and goat dum biryani was an absolute delight. The diverse range of appetizers, such as samosas, pakoras were bursting with flavor and had the right amount of crispiness. The naan bread was freshly baked and served warm, adding to the authenticity of the experience. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the cuisine they served.

In terms of value, the prices were reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. The portion sizes were generous, and I left feeling fully satisfied. The restaurant also provided excellent value for vegetarians, offering a wide range of flavorful options that were on par with the non-vegetarian dishes.

The combination of a captivating ambiance, delectable cuisine, attentive service, and great value made it a memorable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to embark on a culinary journey through the...
