Update: First of all, DO NOT use Uber Eats EVER! An oversight on the restaurant's part in our order last night, by leaving out two items, has been a complete nightmare because Uber Eats refused to give us a refund even though we didn't get two items. But I'm changing my 1-star review to a 3-star review because we called the restaurant back today and luckily the manager answered. He already knew about the oversight from last night and he has made it right. He took full responsibility for not giving the two items to the Uber Eats driver, but again, it's been a nightmare trying to get this resolved. My initial review is below.
Due to an injury and unable to go out, we decided to try this restaurant using Uber Eats. The restaurant left out 2 (overpriced) Dulce Leche cheesecakes from our order. The young girl who answered the phone asked if we wanted to come get them. That was about as dumb as me asking if she was grabbing her keys to bring them to us! She also told me to call the Uber driver to tell her to go back to the restaurant and get them. The Uber driver wouldn't answer her phone though! The young girl on the phone blamed some guy in the back for not bringing out the cheesecakes. The driver also should have used her brain and looked at the receipt and realized that the cheesecakes were missing, but it's 100% the restaurant's fault here. The unhelpful young girl who answered our call needs more training.
As for the food...I thought the grilled chicken in my fajitas was very good. I could have just made a meal on their grilled chicken alone. The cheese dip was also very, very good. However, our chips were stale and sooooo greasy, the guacamole had zero taste, the flour tortillas were so dry and kept ripping like they were old, and there was something weird about their salsa but we couldn't put our finger on it! My husband finally used his fork to take a bite of the salsa, chuckled, and then wouldn't shut up until I tried a bite of the salsa with my fork. He warned me before I took a bite, telling me to close my eyes and picture a pizza place. YES, it was JUST like marinara sauce! I know this restaurant is new, but it definitely needs to step up their game in improving on a lot of issues. We may give them another...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant three times now. The first two visits (both parties of six) were excellent — the food, service, and atmosphere were all great. Even when we had a small language barrier the first time, the servers were attentive, and the second time was flawless. Those experiences made this one of my favorite spots.
Unfortunately, my most recent visit (a party of 12 (& a baby), with my family party being 5) was disappointing enough to make me rethink returning. From the start, things felt disorganized: we were seated, then asked to move, then told we’d have two servers — but somehow ended up with just one. Our original server, Danny, started off attentive, but then stopped helping our table altogether. Another server (who never introduced herself) seemed to take over. She was clearly overwhelmed, and everything we asked for — sauces, side items, even simple requests — had to be repeated three times before arriving, if at all.
The food was still good, but the service left my entire party frustrated. To make matters worse, our checks had errors — I personally was charged for items I didn’t order, and others in my group had discrepancies too. The explanation we got was simply that the server was “new.” If that’s the case, where was the training and support? Other servers stepped in occasionally, but no one seemed responsible for guiding her, leaving our group embarrassed and frustrated.
For the first time ever, I didn’t leave a tip — not because I don’t value hard work, but because I felt I was essentially charged extra to cover mistakes, and I couldn’t justify tipping on top of that.
This place has amazing food and atmosphere, and in the past has delivered great service. But this last visit was such a negative experience that it’s hard to want to come back. I hope management addresses training and support for new servers, especially when handling...

As a fair completed person people often assume I don’t speak Spanish. But I do. And during my recent visit, that fluency gave me a front-row seat to something disturbing.
I had just settled in to enjoy my Birria tacos (which were, to be clear, delicious) when I overheard one of the employees — short in stature, with a name that started with “D,” possibly Dani or Daniela — speaking aggressively about another server. I won’t name her, but she was very light-skinned, possibly of Latin descent, though I can’t say for certain. Regardless, the level of cruelty directed toward her wasn’t random or isolated — it felt deeply personal, and honestly, racially charged.
The remarks were relentless and loud enough for customers to hear. The employee used the Spanish P-word (equivalent to the English B-word) multiple times, spewing insults with clear intent to demean. Meanwhile, the young woman being targeted stayed focused, professional, and composed — even while enduring that kind of verbal abuse in plain sight.
As someone who’s spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry, I know toxic dynamics when I see them — and this was textbook bullying. The energy was hostile, targeted, and incredibly unsettling. The fact that it seemed racially motivated made it even worse.
I wasn’t alone. My dinner companion — a lawyer — was so disturbed by what he saw and heard that he handed the young server his card, offering her support in case she ever needs it. That’s how serious this was.
The tacos may have been fantastic, but no meal is worth supporting a business that allows such toxic, potentially racist behavior to go unchecked. I won’t be coming back — and I sincerely hope management takes a hard look at the environment they’re fostering...
