After spending over an hour shopping around and finding several items of clothing I wanted to try on, I find out the dressing rooms are closed. Me, along with several other ladies with a shopping cart full of clothes, we unable to try them on. When I spoke with staff, I was told that fitting rooms are closed due to lack of staff. I get the lack of staff issue, however, when you have staff assigned to restocking items and 3 doing inventing the back, it was extremely frustrating. Why bring in new merchandise IF you can try on and sale the products you have in store. We suggested opening for a small amount of time and doing a rotation. BOTH managers were unwilling to work with the customers at all. Not to mention, we were treated very rudely. The customer first philosophy is very much lacking at the store. Me, along with several other people, walked of and left a cart full of merchandise having to be restocked again vs working with the customer to make the sale. I asked why you you not announcing this inconvenience to the customers on the speaker? She said we have a sign on the door. This so called sign was very small and not one of us even noticed it upon arrival. I have been a Marshall’s shopper for years. I am so disappointed in first how we were treated and secondly the lack of common sense. Stock more items as a priority vs. selling what customers are willing to buy? You lost several loyal shoppers. Marshalls needs to reevaluate their customer service and focus on restocking when you are not in prime time shopping hours for your customers. Do...
Read moreI found the cutest dress that had obviously been through the wringer (on the floor, stained, makeup etc) it was bad but I had hope that I could get some of the damage off. I asked for a damaged discount, and was told they could only do 10%.. I said okay, and if these stains etc don’t come out, can I return it, they said no it’s sold as is.. the manager told me she could use an alcohol wipe to get the stains/makeup remover out. She ended up trying and straight up said I wouldn’t be able to get the stains out since she can usually get stains out with the wipe.. and wasn’t friendly about it at all. So she basically wanted me to buy a $30 dress, with her $1 off and it would be sold as is..and I wouldn’t be able to return it even if it didn’t fit properly (didn’t have a chance to try on) I’ve never ever had this happen in any retail store literally didn’t...
Read moreVery disappointed with my experience here.
Mens shoes consist of about half a shelf of display models, find one you like, and realize the boxes beneath dont match up to anything on display. Mens clothes was just awful. The rack labeled "tops" is where you'll find shorts, with the occasional pair of pants mixed in. Looking for a medium? Better check the 4x section. Nothing is anywhere close to organized; which is surprising considering the employee who found it necessary to bump into me on 3 separate occasions putting clothes on racks was constantly putting things up. Overall awful trip to this store, probably won't be back. But Google asked me "how was your trip to Marshalls?".... so, that's how it...
