Food? Mid. Service? David. Atmosphere? Harsh lighting. Chat? Cooked. (Not in a good way)
First time going to Beef-A-Roo, and my squad and I were so excited to pull up! The vibe of this restaurant was lowkey Ohio -1000 aura points. The lights were not a vibe: so harsh, not demure. The food was mid to say the least. The Dr. Pepper tasted like still water. (Those who know)
Let's break it down now.
The Burger: it was as dry as my DMs smh (skull emoji). The lettuce was also not good, fr tasted like dirt, and the bread was sog as a dog. The Burger was uncanny and tasted like the synthetic Krabby Patty from season 4 episode 65a "Selling Out". (Tasted like the color gray...) The cheese curds tasted like oil gushers from Hell. The fries were like wet cardboard, not salted and cold. And the Shake. The Shake. It would have been so good and I would have came back only for the shake, but no. I asked for no whipped cream; that was the one modification in this entire order. They couldn't finish making my shake, which was fine, because I got a refund for the size difference, BUT they put the CREAM in the bottom, not sigma like behavior, chat. The Chicken Tenders were okay. They tasted like tenders I would have in high school so points for nostalgia? Good enough for a beef place, I guess.
In all seriousness, let's move on to why I even cared about writing a review at all, and why I was so observant to the flaws of this restaurant.
David. I am assuming that David was the manager of the night and to the girl working the front, I am so sorry that is what you have to put up with at work. David was very kind to other workers and was even joking with the others, but to the girl he was RUDE!!! He was harsh to her and used an inappropriate tone of voice. You could feel the hostility coming off him towards that girl which was completely disgusting. I will not be returning because of the interactions between David and the girl, who by the way, was extremely nice and was helping us with our order when David yelled at her. David, you need to do better and treat your employees better because I can guarantee that they are not getting paid enough to deal with that kind of behavior from their (possible) boss who is at least twice their age.
To everyone else reading this, happy holidays!!!! To David, happy...
Read moreI wanted to give this local fast food restaurant a chance. I went here a week or two after they opened and had a pork tenderloin, fries, etc.. It was good considering what this place is. You don’t expect a whole lot but is what it is. Last week, I was trying to figure out something quick for dinner. So stopped again . It was 5 o’clock on a Wednesday. I walk into the restaurant I see that there’s a couple sitting by the wall and another group that was behind their center island so I couldn’t see exactly how many they were. The lot was empty so I figured this will be quick. I ordered just a big beef sandwich some cheese fries and a sweet tea. I get my drink. I sit down. It’s 5:05 PM. I look around and see that the two people sitting by the window while waiting for their food and then the group that was behind their center island thing had 6 large hungry adults and 2 kids. I did not see when they came in the order but obviously before me. At the 520 mark, I was starting to get a bit impatient because no food was coming out to anybody in the restaurant. In the meantime, another couple comes in order food. Now the restaurant has four separate tables with about 14 people waiting on their food order. I’m not going to complain but when it got to be 40 minutes and still no food coming out to anybody that’s when I had enough. Since the people that came in before we were still waiting, I knew that I’d be there for another 2030 minutes at least so I got up and asked for my money back. I said 40 minutes waiting on a fast food roast. Beef sandwich is a bit ridiculous. The group had a counter. I felt bad for said there was only two people working in the shift one cook and her taking orders They were slammed, overwhelmed and overworked. Shame on management for putting these girls in this position. Will I go back , I...

Since when do we have amazing, go out of your way, hard workers like BROOKE! Listen. I'm sorry for my screaming, but she is amazing!! Especially when my kids LOVE the food here. It was literally 8:45 and my youngest son says "can I have Beef-A-Roo?" And I'm literally 15 minutes away so I was like well... maybe. I called and Brooke answered being the sweet, genuine, amazing babe that she is and I explained to her I would make it right at closing and how about she told me she was going to leave the kitchen going a few minutes longer just for us. BROOKE! You don't have any idea what that means to this MAMA!!!!! You made my life 10000000% times easier and making sure my kids are happy and fed is the most peaceful feeling.
