Came in for lunch. It was a little before noon and the place was completely empty. I was immediately greeted and took a seat. Server immediately took my drink order as I looked at the menu. After I ordered it didn't take long for me to receive my food. Everything looked good and as I ordered it. Burger was very good. The bun was wonderful, soft and fresh. The meat and all the toppings were fresh and tasty. Tater tots were crispy, but nothing special. I also ordered a fried bologna sandwich. It was fine, but would have been better with the addition of lettuce. The french fries had a unique style and we're very crispy, but bland. It would have been nice if they had some kind of special seasoning on them. Overall, the food was good, but nothing to get excited about. The service was fast and friendly. I was the only one there, so I can't comment on how it would be if they were busy. The decor was very nice and has improved since the last time I was there before the new name. One other observation is the sign is not very easy to read, especially at night. The colors kind of blend together and it can't be easily read from a distance.

I recommend this spot and would come here again because the food and service is solid, and with a few tweaks could be...

Better Days Diner - A Five-Star 50s Gem

After an unfortunate experience at Big Bad Breakfast, where my family felt unwelcome and discriminated against, we decided to leave and try Better Days Diner. From the moment we walked in, it was clear we had made the right choice.

Themed around the fabulous 1950s, Better Days Diner is a nostalgic escape with impeccable service, a warm atmosphere, and delicious food that transported us to a simpler, happier time. The staff were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and attentive, making sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect.

The location is charming and adds to the retro ambiance, with vibrant décor, classic tunes, and an inviting energy that feels like a scene straight out of a vintage movie. The food was incredible—prepared with care and served promptly, proving the restaurant’s dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.

Better Days Diner truly lives up to its name. It transformed what could have been a bad day into one filled with joy and positivity. This is a place where everyone is treated with respect, kindness, and top-notch hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and an unforgettable experience. Five stars...

So, while visiting a dear sweet friend of mine in Tennessee she recommended this place before shopping at the Super Target. I’m so glad she did, as it was superb hot dogs & fries…I also tried the secret chicken salad sandwich which was yummy. I can say this, I know there were purple grapes chopped up in the salad that was a wonderful addition. Back to the chili sauce which always makes the hot dog for me. As much as I loved the dawgs, those twisted fries STOLE the show! I’m not even a fry girl…but these fries! They were cooked to perfection & on a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate them a 15. Seriously, I would go to just eat the fries. As my friend Nevelle suggested, I would order fries with chili sauce & cheese, they were that good! This diner! Look at how beautiful it is…staff? These beautiful young ladies were not only friendly & knowledgeable but they were serving up the food piping hot & cooked perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate the entire family to a hot dog shop like this one. And…if you are not in the mood for hot dogs or hamburgers flip the menu for breakfast instead. Great restaurant! Five...

My wife and I came ate here on Friday night about 7:00. We do not have to wait to get a seat. Server Dylan came right up and got our drink order. Came back a few moments later asked if we were ready and gave some recommendations as it was our first time. Gave us a few more moments and came back and got our orders. My wife ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger with fired pickles and I got the Philly with beef and onion rings. My wife’s burger was great. Beef tasted great was cooked perfect and was juicy and had great flavor. My Philly was equally as good. The beef was juicy and tender no dry or chewy parts. The pepper jack cheese was good and the onions and peppers were great. The seasoning they used was good. The bun was nice and soft with no hard dry spots. The fried pickles were great just a little salty. The onion rings were great as swell. We will definitely come back. Has an old dinner feel and great decorations fun for kids. Can even sit at a car seat table.
