VN PHO — Restaurant in Spring Hill

A Hidden Gem of Freshness and Generosity* I don’t usually leave reviews unless I truly feel a place stands out, and VN Pho absolutely does. This was the first pho restaurant I’ve been to that genuinely served fresh food and drinks—and I don’t say that lightly.

The first thing that stood out was the shakes, teas, and bobas—they're made with real, fresh ingredients rather than the usual puree or powder you get at most places. You can, clear as day, taste the difference immediately.

The food portions are shockingly generous. I ordered the chicken pho, and the chicken pieces were massive—unlike anything I’ve had at other pho spots, both locally and out of state. My wife had the pho with beef and chicken, and it was just as impressive. The freshness and portion sizes really set this place apart.

What makes this experience even better is the personal touch. I spoke with the owners, who I believe are family/ couple, and they explained from the start that everything is made fresh. Honestly, I was skeptical—until I started eating. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows in every bite and sip.

I’ve had pho recommended by Vietnamese friends before, but this is the only place I’ve been where I know for sure the food and drinks are genuinely fresh. I appreciate that so much, and I will absolutely be coming back.

Phenomenal Service, Decent Pho

We recently dined at VN Pho and were impressed by the exceptional service. The owner was incredibly welcoming and cheerful, making our dining experience enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and had a pleasant ambiance with appropriate Asian music playing in the background.

We ordered the Pho Combo, which comes with three types of meat. While the flavors were decent, we've had better pho in the past. The portion size was smaller than we expected, and we were initially disappointed that only one plate of toppings was brought to the table for all four of us. However, the owner promptly brought another plate when we requested it.

The pho itself was a bit lukewarm, which detracted from the overall experience. The boba tea, however, was excellent. We appreciated the owner's willingness to adjust the sweetness to our preference.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to VN Pho and would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

OMG! I've had pho in various states, in many different settings. Fancy restaurants to food trucks. I thought I knew what the perfect pho tasted like. Boy was I wrong! We had take-out, which usually takes the enjoyment down a notch, but not this one!

Just finished off the special pho from VN PHO - FRIGGIN' AWESOME!

The broth: you can smell the time they put into the broth. Just the right clarity with some unctuousness still there for mouth feel. Just the right spices in the right amounts.

The meats: FRESH - thin sliced meats, served raw as should be so we could setup the bowl, reheat the broth to boiling and pour over ourselves. PERFECT! The beef had amazing flavor - so beefy (there is no other word to describe). I didn't realize what I was missing in other places. I can't wait to try the chicken and the beef stew varieties.

The veggies: fresh and just what you need and nothing more.

Together, they make the best dang Pho I've ever had. I don't mind the drive for this but if you eat in, the place is super clean and bright. Nice music, very sweet people and (aside from the boba and summer/shrimp spring rolls) nothing but Pho. Perfect!
