Came here for the first time today and ordered the steak quesadilla and two tacos which was SUPER inexpensive! The wait however was kind of long but it appeared to be minimal staff so the wait wasn’t a huge issue. The quesadilla was really good! Usually whenever I have a quesadilla it’s kind of mediocre but this was very good! It was hot and delicious. The lettuce that came with it however was a little brown and didn’t look the freshest. The tacos were okay, wasn’t a huge fan of the corn tortilla shells. It was slightly cold; the shells should’ve/could’ve been placed on the stove for a bit. Overall pretty good experience, if I’m in the area I would probably return.

If you dig shoe leather, try the carne asada. Ours was inedible. You could use it for sandpaper. Asked for a few more fresh pieces, to be cooked only 30 seconds as it's wafer thin. Also arrived inedible after 10 minutes. My burrito bowl was good though. Either the meat they're sourcing is ultra cheap or the cook isn't paying attention. Note also, this is a true hole in the wall. A few tables, tv showing sumo wrestling (gak), not where you go for date night.

Sooo good. We got tacos (1 steak, 1 lengua and 1 carnitas), and a steak quesadilla. Everything was delicious, and there was a great selection of flavorful hot sauces! We'll definitely be back. Edit: I'm slightly obsessed with the pastor tacos with pineapple, picture added. We've been back several times, and the food and service is always great!

I cannot say enough about this small yet beautiful establishment and the beautiful owners. It may not look like much on the outside (or inside), but this place is hiding a delicious secret. If you’re looking for a gem in the middle of a desert, a hole-in-the-wall masterpiece hidden in the midst of a bustling suburban neighborhood or “The amazing tiny place with the best food that no one knows about,” well this is it. Taco Vallarta never disappoints, time and time again you will be blessed with the same, delicious, super fresh ingredients that has the same, delightful flavor you’ve been craving since the first time you walked up to the Mr. Taco truck asking for a burrito bowl. Yes, this is where Mr. Taco is when the truck isn’t out and about in the neighborhood, this is their home base. This is a restaurant that is small but mighty. I’ve never met a more humble owner that takes such pride in his work and the cleanliness of his establishment. While genuinely caring for and conversing with his customers, who travel anywhere from five minutes down the street to over an hour just to enjoy the dishes offered. If you have not been here yet, I would highly...
