Aspen Mills — Local services in Spring Lake Park

I had a very awkward experience when coming in today. Normally, the place is very nice and the staff are happy to help. Today I came in for a stethoscope because I knew they would have quality product.

The gentleman who initially greeted me waited patiently as I looked at their selection of stethoscopes. When I requested to look at the Prestige Medical stethoscope, the worker said in an impatient tone, "are you a student?" I told him I was to which he - and not even suggesting, almost demanding- told me to "go to walgreens and get one for 20 bucks, blood pressure cuff included." I stood there for 15 seconds; I know that The more expensive something is, the higher quality it is. I didn't want to go across town to get a much more poorer quality stethoscope, and I didn't need the cuff either.

To kill the very awkward conversation, the other worker who I recognized said, "what are you thinking?" to which I explained, "It's not worth the drive and I don't get why the worker is telling me to not spend, I have the money". The nicer employee happily rung me up and wished me a great rest of the day, while the other worker wisely left the situation.

Overall a very stale experience for most of it. I get that being a student, it might not be worth it to overspend, but this is such a lame excuse. It was tops a $20 difference, it's not like I purchased some over the top, $400 stethoscope that was totally unnecessary.

Aspen Mills should rebuttle to its employees that not every company makes the same quality product, and not to shun away it's customers because they want to buy from them.

These guys are absolutely incredible. The first time I went in, I was looking for boots. They didn't have what I was looking for, so rather than upsell me to something else, they helped point me toward other local retailers who might be able to help me. Therefore, I have been going back to get other pieces of gear and I will be purchasing most, if not all, of my uniforms here in the future.

UPDATE: 10 months later, I’m still buying my uniforms here. They are extremely knowledgeable about different organization’s uniform requirements and they always have a can-do attitude if some issue comes up with...

Went to this establishment for the very 1st time. To purchase pants & a shirt for my new position. The customer service was superb. Their multitasking skills exceeded my expectations. The employees attention to details were excellent. The customer service was Marvelous, all of my needs were met in a quick & timely manner.
