Usually I really love this place and will stop in if I have time before work to grab the same drink that I’ve ordered for over a year now. Today however was a different story. When I went to order my usual, iced coffee with vanilla and blueberry, the girl taking my order told me she couldn’t put blueberry in my drink. I assumed it was because they were out but when I asked she said she wouldn’t allow me to order it because other people have meant to order an all American in the past (a latte which has blueberry in it) and accidentally ordered an iced coffee instead and written bad reviews when they didn’t get an all American. I was a little taken aback and asked her to do it anyway because ive been ordering an iced coffee this way for a while now and knew what i was ordering and she still said no. she even went to ask what i assumed was the owner or a manager, who told her in front of me she could if she wanted to they've been letting people order other drinks with blueberry in it and she turned around and said no I'm not going to let you order it. I tried to argue it but she wouldnt budge so I asked her what other flavors they had that I could use and she just said they have over 50 flavors but wouldnt elaborate. Eventually I just gave up and ordered the all american bc it was the only one she would put the blueberry in it but I paid 8 bucks for it and didnt really care for it. I really dont understand why you would offer a flavor I cant get in anything other than 1 drink and I really dont understand what other people complaining about a drink bc they ordered the wrong drink has to do with me getting the coffee I want and am willing to pay for even after I promise I know what I'm ordering bc I've ordered it for almost a year. You're worried about letting me order what I want in case it isnt what i want and i write a bad review but you're getting one now anyway. I have read the article where yall stated you limited your hours because of the other coffee shops around and losing business, but this isnt a good way to keep customers from buying the competition if you advertise a flavor and then refuse to let someone order it in their drink. next time ill just try a...
Read moreI had ordered a Breave (shot of espresso with steamed half and half and a thin layer of milk foam) and the person who game me my drink asked if I had ordered a Latte, then when I said no a breave, she asked me what it was (It's on the menu!) Then she made me a cup of coffee with half and half, no espresso, not steamed, just a cup of coffee. I realized it when I finally got to work and got rid of it because I don't like coffee. I ended up calling about an hour later to ask for a refund or to have my drink remade and they told me I have to bring back the drink to remake it. I told them I got rid of the drink, but I can pull the cup from the trash, describe the person who took my order, and bring my receipt. But that wasn't enough for them, I had to bring the drink so I just gave them $4.25 and they gave me nothing. I also ordered a Lox and Capers Sandwich on a Corssaint for $5.70. The sandwich was good which is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. For $10.75 I'd expect to get what I ordered. Either don't go here, or open up and take a sip drive through. And check you're whole order before leaving the drivethrough. I'm not going again
Update: They provided a full refund within a few hours! So I upgraded from 2...
Read moreThis is my second time visiting The Morning Jump for breakfast, but this morning I was disappointed in what I thought was going to be a great breakfast sandwich.
Upon arriving, one of the sweet workers approached my car to take my order. I ordered the Mini Drop sandwich and asked for my bacon to be cooked extra (the last time I got the same sandwich and the bacon wasn’t cooked enough to my liking). The worker told me “sure I can put extra crispy for your bacon”. Well her writing just “extra crispy” had whoever made the sandwich thinking I wanted the entire order crispy.
As you can see from the photos the bacon is crispy yes, but the cheese was burnt onto it. I couldn’t even take it off, it literally crumbled with the bacon. Not only the cheese situation, but that hash brown was made crispy as well, so bad that it was hard as a brick! You can see how over done it is in the picture where I broke it in half.
This won’t stop me from going back again, but the inedible parts of this breakfast definitely ruined the taste I had for it. Next time I’ll be sure to tell them to please make the bacon extra crispy first then add the cheese so they don’t mess up the...
