Literally just left checkers as an unsatisfied customer. My friend and I ordered burgers and when we received them they were lukewarm. We went back through the drive thru and asked them to make our food fresh. Strike 1 was the guy at the window who acted like he didnt want to take the food back smacking his lips and stuff. Strike 2 they brought us out 2 more burgers that felt hot because the bread was hot but upon biting into the burger we realized again the meat was not fresh and was not hot. There was no steam which you would assume to see on a sandwich that just came off the grill. No there was no wait because we were the only customers they had so food shouldn't have been sitting there. We called and requested the manager and her answer was that the cooks threw away the sandwiches and made new ones to which I told her they made new ones but they were not fresh. They were burgers that had already been cooked and placed in a pan with a holding time. She kept trying to make excuses for her workers instead of listening to the wrongs that the cooks did and the unsatisfaction of the customer. I have worked fast food and I know that the managers job is to correct whatever is wrong with a customers order not lie about what is being done. Like I told her I dont need compensation or even my order remade they can just deal with the fact they lost 2 more customers on top of the fact that traffic through here is minimal I assume because of the terrible service and reheated food instead of fresh food. I have only been during the daytime, which the food is always hot and fresh and the customer service is wonderful. I went last time, I nicely told the young lady could we switch the sweet tea because we ordered 3 of them and it did not taste good at all.The young lady said not a problem but I seen another woman who looked bothered by me switching my drinks because it didn’t taste good. So at this point I got my food and the fries were not hot , neither was the funnel sticks but she proceeded to tell me it’s fresh and slammed the window in my face . Not once was I rude , her utter co worker opened the window back and I’m like hey I drove an hour for good food and service so I didn’t understand why the lady was being rude , it’s simply the food wasn’t hot and I didn’t get upset about the drinks but to slam the window and visibly see this woman talk about me through the window. I was truly disappointed because I absolutely love Checkers but I won’t let the snaggle tooth red hair fairy ruin it. I don’t even write reviews but Checkers - please check on your employee- She was terrible. I easily spent $40 and took a long drive just to feel like I got disrespected. Giving a 2 star mainly because of customer service, unfortunately I don't know the name of the female that scratched her forehead with her gloves on that she was using, who had her blonde hair in a bun, with glasses and a little bit thicker than the other girl with the glasses and hair in a bun but she was unhelpful. I simply let the staff know about 7min before my order pick up time that I ordered online per the instructions after placing my online order. Everyone looked confused and the girl who I just mentioned said well it didn't come through our system so basically she couldn't help. I showed my order confirmation to the only guy that came to the window to listen to me and eventually he made the order right before the receipt printed out. I appreciate that guy but as for the women one at the window and the one who scratched her forehead with her gloves on I specifically asked one question "what do we do if the order hasn't printed yet because I already paid" " her response was it must be a website issue.
