Came by to check out the hype as I love a good tea. Place is packed and had about 10 baristas working so I thought service would be fast. Nope they served 10 people that are behind us and had us waited for over 15minutes on 2 simple orders of tea that they screwed up! They have no sense of discipline or organization and definitely NO communication skills and perhaps they can’t read either. I requested for NO ICE and here it is filled to the brim even the label says “Ice Free”! Took over 15 minutes just to screw up on my order! lol Service is crappy and the attitude of these people are trash no communication no apologies. It does NOT take over 15minutes to be served a drink in this town specially if you have 10 baristas on the floor that is highly unacceptable! Definitely a waste of time. What a joke!
RESPONSE: Hello I appreciate you trying to correct the matter however it seems that you are not acknowledging the problem in the first place and that demonstrates a lack of accountability or customer care. I had ordered of the two same exact specific tea with NO ice. The woman on the register even gaved me a sample with NO ice and specifically said the tea would be served just like that! One of our orders was served correctly with no ice however mines came 7 minutes late and it was with ice filled to the brim! I DO NOT want any ice on my tea since I’ve had a cough. The tea like in the photo was so filled with ice I could barely taste the actual tea when I got home! I was practically served ice. I did not get to enjoy my tea at all! So can you please elaborate which part of ICE FREE do you not obviously understand??!!! lol
Also if what you had relayed was true that the order of service is first come first serve upon receiving orders. Then please DO explain WHY and how has your employees served and processed orders for 5-10 people who are literally BEHIND us when our orders were processed first?? I’m still dumbfounded that it took over 15 minutes for our tea to be served and the fact that your server handing out the orders to people who were behind us and had continuously IGNORED us she also gaved a very nasty attitude when we had politely asked what was going on with our orders! I really wanted to give a good review since I enjoy the Chinatown area but the first impression I was left with is so off putting. Your employee demonstrated incompetence LACK OF RESPECT and a very awful impression on a place that I was really looking forward to!
I have never been to tea shop in this town where they have 10 baristas working the floor and takes literally 15minutes to process just 2 drinks?!...
Read moreChi Cha San Chen is a bubble tea chain that originated in Taichung, Taiwan in 1998. I had never heard of this place, so I consulted my friend whose family happens to be from Taichung and she said that CCSC was indeed legit. After some Googling, I discovered that this an award-winning shop known for their high-quality tea sourced from their own gardens in the Lishan Mountains. They use a patented teapresso machine called the Lion to create orders to the customers' requests. There are global locations with this being the first one in Vegas. I invited that same friend to meet up with me for today's soft opening. Upon arriving, there was a line on the right side of the shop and a slew of people waiting for their orders on the left. We were informed by staff that our orders would take 30-40 minutes; we were already here and were not in a rush, so we decided to stay. The wait time was due to the large number of customers and that every cup of tea is freshly brewed. The cashier who helped me patiently answered my questions about the signature drink (Bubble Milk Tea) and she gave her recommendations, plus had the different tea leaves used that she described and let me smell (small canisters were next to the registers for this purpose). I did order the Bubble Milk Tea, which you can customize with level of sweetness and how much ice you prefer, and also the Creamy Mango Tart drink. I was again informed that my order could take about 40 minutes. What's very cool is that CCSC offers a free tea tasting experience, so you can do that while you wait. I did it and you can tell they know what they're talking about. The young lady explained the origin of the oolong tea leaves the stores use and presented different varieties, as well as explained each step of the tea preparation as she went along. In the meantime, my drink order was ready in 15 minutes instead of 40--great! However, I did get lucky; my friend's order took about 30 minutes to be done and she only ordered one drink. The signature Bubble Milk Tea was indeed delicious; I ordered it less sweet with less ice, and their boba was terrific. The Creamy Mango Tart drink was actually a bit too sweet for me, but I liked the mousse very much. Overall, the addition of Chi Cha San Chen is great for Vegas tea lovers. Just go knowing that you'll have to...
Read moreAs a self-proclaimed boba aficionado, I've had my fair share of milk teas, but Chi Cha San Chen (or 吃茶三千 as I first knew it) is truly in a league of its own! From the moment you taste their tea, you understand this isn't just another bubble tea shop; it's an experience. This place is an absolute game-changer and easily earns every single one of its five stars. What sets them apart is the undeniable quality of their tea. You can taste the rich, authentic tea flavor in every sip – it's robust, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, never overshadowed by excessive sweetness or artificial-tasting syrups. I recently tried their famous King Pearl Milk Tea, and it was divine! The tea was so smooth, and the milk complemented it beautifully. And the pearls? Oh, the pearls! They were cooked to perfection – that ideal chewy texture that every boba lover dreams of. I also ventured to try their Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea, and it was a revelation. The floral notes of osmanthus combined with the high-quality oolong and a hint of honey were incredibly refreshing, especially with the warm Las Vegas weather we've been having this May. It’s clear they use premium ingredients. Beyond the exceptional drinks, the attention to detail is evident. Even their packaging feels elevated. Yes, it might be a tad pricier than your average boba joint, but believe me, it's worth every penny for the quality and taste you receive. If you're tired of overly sweet or bland milk teas and crave a truly premium tea experience, do yourself a favor and visit Chi Cha San Chen. Whether you're a die-hard boba fan or new to the world of Taiwanese tea, you won't be disappointed. Be prepared for a potential wait, as a place this good is bound to be popular, but trust me, the reward is well worth it. This is my new go-to spot, and I'm already planning my next visit to work my way through their...
