Lucky Mud (formerly Some Like It Hot) — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Drove 45 minutes to go to this bakery/coffee house after seeing that they were open until 4:00 on Google AND on their own website. Walked up to the door- lights were on and people were sitting at the tables. This was about 3:00. Happened to notice a tiny, little yellow piece of paper taped to the door that said they had changed their hours to close at 2:30. I tried to open the door and it was locked. People at the table just completely ignored me. Not cool. Keep hours updated always- people look these up online...

Sharon's Hot Mocha's are amazing... her Chicken Salad Rosemary Sandwich is delectable. And don't even try to buy any Scones... because I have already scooped those up!! The Blueberry Lemon Scones are too die for, as are the Raspberry & Blackberry. She also sells unique gifts such as jellies, sauces, sodas, occasion-specific cards, flavored popcorn, old-fashioned candies, tea & coffees... Sharon's baking, Café, and Catering is professional, casual, & however you like it. Plus she's so pleasant...

The food is great, it's a cute little place. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because she said she'd send us an estimate to cater our wedding that's in 2025, and she would get it to us within a couple weeks of when we met about food options. We messaged her 7 weeks later after not receiving an estimate, and she said we should find another caterer because she's overwhelmed. So I wouldn't suggest having her cater any type of event in fear of her...
