My family and I have been coming to Korea Town for several years and we always enjoy eating at the food court. What's unique about Sakura Sushi for us is that my daughter was the one always eating here. I've tried the items that she's ordered before from here, but never got around to formally rating and/or providing comments of this place because I never ordered anything for myself, until now.
I stopped in Korea Town to pick up several things for the house and had no intentions of eating here. However, walking into a Korean food court and smelling Jajangmyeon, Bibimbap, Kalbi, Kimchi Pancakes, and every other good Korean food in the air, makes it hard to say no. Not to mention, I didn't get to eat anything for lunch either. Also, I didn't want to eat any extravagant meat dishes either because it was getting close to dinner time, so I opted for some sushi. I ended up ordering the Spicy Tuna Roll and Kimbap. To be honest, I didn't know this restaurant actually made anything other than sushi and curry entrées, so having Kimbap available at this place was shocking, yet very appreciated. Needless to say, both entrées were great and it's comforting to know that if I ever want high quality sushi while at Korea Town, I have this place to count on.
Of noteworthy significance, the guy working at the counter has been there for years and he does such an exceptional job from a customer service standpoint; he's friendly and works very efficiently. I highly recommend this place...
Read moreWorst Asian in Las Vegas in my personal opinion. Paid over $9 for a small paper bowl with noodles and water. It was supposed to be Udon with vegetables but apparently we didn’t ask for the right kind and regular means noodles with nothing. As for the tofu curry, it’s borderline disgusting to a point that it smells like nothing I’ve ever tasted. The “fried tofu” was clearly defrosted and put on the plate and tasted cold, soggy and anything but fried. The cabbage was edible if you just order that alone. However for over $30, I highly recommend that you save your time when inside the food court and stay away from this food stand. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. We have eaten at over 30 Asian restaurants in Las Vegas and this is by far the worst tasting food yet. The food court itself has great options, we’ve tried most of them. From the last photo you can see what was advertised vs what I got in the paper bowl. Not many...
