They are never open at night past midnight.
The manager was advised how on 2 other attempts there was no one inside and the sign was on. She even checked our phones to verify we weren't making it up. I can only assume they were hiding and smoking ganja with all the lights on and the music still playing. We thought someone must have robbed or kidnapped them since its lit up like Christmas.
On 8/26 tried calling them 5 times from 5am to 6:51am and nobody answered the phones.
They have wasted hours of my time on multiple trips.
The manager at this store even told us she would make sure to keep checking on whoever is there. We called #2 and they answered immediately. The employees here must hate money.
I also was surprised by the stewed chicken in the wet burrito when I went there. I was expecting there to be fajita chicken.
The nachos are why we go here but I can never get them unless we come before 11pm.
I am a night owl and I hate sunlight so not being open when the sign is on is like a slap in the face because we waste gas driving all the way over there and then having to come back.
A round trip is almost 45 minutes. That is not worth showing up and no one being there.
Especially if you are trying to...
Read moreWent in on a Saturday at 4:00. Only a few people inside. Nobody in the drive thru. Ordered and was able to find one clean table. All the rest had food all over them. Ordered for dine in and food was given to me in a to go bag. I had to go back up and ask for my drink cup because they never gave me one. I have now learned what âCalifornia styleâ is and itâs not good. I could not even find jalapeño on the âSalsa Barâ but if sliced cucumber on your taco is your thing than this is the place for you. The taco tasted odd and when I tried the Burrito it was filled with green peppers. I literally left my food on the table and walked out. Drive down 1960 to Taco Bueno. Iâm not even willing to try breakfast. There are too many good places along Aldine Westfield and no reason to eat here. I know they are new but this place has a handful of these in California and this is the best they can do? From reading the reviews (after going there and wondering if I am the only one who thinks it is that bad) it became obvious that the only people who seem to like it have moved here from California. I had high hopes for this. Extremely...
Read moreIf I could give 10 stars I would. We moved from California in July, and have been looking for a real burrito for the last 5 months. Every single Mexican restaurant weâve been to is absolutely terrible. So, we randomly drove by and saw âCalifornia style burritosâ and despite being let down every time, we decided to give it a shot. OH MY GOD! The meat is flavorful and tender, the burritos actually have more than just meat and cheese, the meat to rice/beans ratio is perfect. Salsa is nice and spicy, and aguas frescas doesnât taste like the premade packets. To everyone saying itâs bad, either youâre working for another Mexican restaurant, or youâve never had good Mexican food (which is understandable given the options nearby). Carne asada super burrito with no lettuce!! I would add a picture but we ate it...
