McDonald's — Restaurant in Springettsbury Township

Absolutely terrible service. My husband and I stopped at the drive thru to grab a quick bite. No one would take our order on lane 2. They repeatedly asked us to wait. Meanwhile, 5 cars got their order taken on lane 1. We get tired of waiting and drive around the building to go to lane 1. We should have just left.. Once it's our turn my husband starts to order and no one could be heard on the microphone. The screen was also not correct. All we wanted was 3 mcdoubles and 2 small fries. After waiting a moment someone comes into the intercom and gives a total that sounds right. At the first window we pay and the receipt is correct, so we assume all is well. WRONG! We literally waited at the second window for our food for 7 minutes. No one even came over to say sorry for the wait or anything. When our bag of food was finally ready, a girl just sticks it out the window and says, "here." That's all she said. "Here." And sort of sideways hands the bag, but obviously she doesn't care, it's almost a shove or toss. No apologies for delays, no explanation, not even a thank you. Will never ever...

I frequently visit this McDonald’s about 2-3 times a week for coffee, breakfast, and usually burgers. I don’t expect McDonald food to be great and would much rather have wendys or burger king any day over McDonalds. The only reason I still come here is because of it being the closest fast food establishment near my house. THE ORDERS ARE NEVER CORRECT AND POOR EMPLOYMENT. I visited on a Saturday and Sunday morning and got an egg McMuffin both days and both days I said clearly “ no Canadian bacon” and they gave me confirmation that there wouldn’t be any. BOTH DAYS I GOT IT! And the second day I had no cheese! Not to mention the herendous wait times for simple things like nuggets or simple cheeseburgers, seems like no one knows what’s going on. Just today I ordered a COLD americano and I received it hot after I specifically said I wanted it cold, then I didn’t have time to loop through the outrageously long drive through line again before I went to work so I was stuck with something totally different from what I wanted. Just go to the one on Memory Lane. Or try out Wendy’s breakfast. I’ve gone twice within the past month, and wow.

Both times, they’ve forgotten food. My daughter’s happy meal was missing it’s drink and toy, they’ve forgotten to give me my sandwich (but remembered the fries 🙄), and today forgot my grandmother’s pancakes. She called and the guy on the phone told her no receipt was necessary; good thing we brought it anyway because the lady at the drive-thru refused to do anything without it. That’s fine, but keep that same energy across the board. Today, there was only one warm food item at the store- the coffee- which was cold by the time we got home and had to be reheated. Now, mistakes happen and i get that. However, when they happen constantly, and instead of trying to fix them the staff is condescending and rude, there’s no reason to ever go back.

Again, Wendy’s breakfast is dope. Try the breakfast baconater or the honey butter chicken biscuit. If you really want McDonald’s, it is incredibly worth it to drive the extra 5 minutes to get to...
