906 Homwin Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Springfield

This is not a 4 star restaurant, I am astonished at the amount of great 5 star reviews they’ve received. It almost seems like paid scammed reviews. Their rice has good texture, not over seasoned but lacked flavor(reason for why I added duck sauce on top of rice). The boneless spareribs taste like they aren’t fresh, more on the dry side and fuzzy looking. The chicken fingers appeared to be fried in overused oil which was confirmed after taste. This is my second time ordering and I’ve received the same presentation almost 2 months apart. The review is realistic, especially when it comes to food. This restaurant should be categorized as a 2 1/2 Star restaurant. They have great customer service but people also should be receiving good quality food. Ordered Chicken fried rice, boneless spareribs, chicken fingers($13.74). PS: I rated it 1 star instead of 2 1/2 hoping to lower their rating to it’s actual rating. This is not a 4 star restaurant. Ordered a party tray of 75 wings. Never had an issue with them. The one time we order 75 wings instead of one party tray the wings came half way cooked. When we called to let you guys know you guys claimed you “double” fried it. I don’t care what you did double fry third fry fourth fry. The pictures speaks for itself. Again I repeat we always order from you guys when we host parties or gatherings so the quick brush off to tell us you guys didn’t do nothing wrong was beyond me ! We had 75 wings and because they weren’t cooked thoroughly we had a lot of left overs. Had to throw them back in the air fryer after our event . In inconvenience ! I’ve been ordering form here for over two years, and here’s my honest review based on my long term experience. They make sure you get what you ordered if they miss something they will make sure you get it right away, if you’re not satisfied or something was wrong with the food they will make you another one, but this only happened to me once so far like one time I bit into a moldy green pepper but mistake happens they just gotta pay more attention unless they didn’t care but we’ll never know. And a side of their language barrier they’re always busy and in a rush so you have to be patient communicating with them. The food is always made fresh, but are the food products fresh? It’s hard to tell after that one experience know but what I can tell is that I’ve never gotten sick...
