BEWARE of eating here. I placed an online order yesterday around 1PM. Parked in a stall and pressed the button. After waiting for over 10 minutes without anyone answering I went inside. I felt like I walked into a trap house. There was music blasting Cardi B in the back and people just walking around eating food and singing. As I was waiting for someone to come talk to me I witnessed the "supervisor" or "manager" WITHOUT gloves grab some fries that were for someone's order in the drive through with his BARE hand, like a claw machine his hand came down and touched every single fry and he put the fries into the bag. Mind you I had just seen him come from the bathroom and from the looks of this manager he probably didn't wash his hands. I then proceeded to watch him go further into the back where the fryers were. I watched him pop a tater tot into his mouth, AGAIN WITHOUT GLOVES and then proceed to make someone's food. It was at this moment he knew he messed up because we made eye contact as he ate food while preparing someone's food. He did not know I was up front waiting for my order. He magically came up front wearing blue gloves after that, how convenient. I then witnessed the person running the fryer in the back, ALSO NOT WEARING GLOVES placing tots bare handed into the containers. One by one I watched this man touch every single tater tot. I was absolutely disgusted at this point. I was probably waiting inside a good 10 mins before the manager approached me to ask for my ticket information. I told him I wanted to cancel my order, which was nowhere to be found anyways I heard someone in the back say it was probably deleted like another order earlier. I couldn't be in there another minute. I made my wife go inside and get our refund. I told her everything I just witnessed inside and that we should never EVER eat there again. She went inside to get a refund. He told her that I was a liar, that he was wearing gloves the entire time. I would be able to tell if he was wearing gloves, they are a bright blue. I am not blind. Read moreThe service at this location on Boston Rd in Springfield, MA is horrendous and has been for YEARS. Upper management or a district manager needs to look into how this place is operating IMMEDIATELY. When you order from this place at the stalls, you're waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. Yesterday, I ordered my meal at 6:40pm which I got an estimate of completion for 6:45. I waited on my meal until 7:33pm and the only reason why I even waited that long was because my money was already being held from my bank account for the order. I finally pulled into the drive thru to ask for my order that was supposed to be for stall 9, being sure to mention I had been waiting almost an hour. Apparently, I didn't even deserve an apology for the inconvenience. The only reply I got was, "Pull up". This isn't the first time this has happened and I honestly wouldn't even think to come here ever again if we had other locations closer than Manchester, CT. I don't come often but every time I do come, it's a similar situation in which I'm waiting anywhere from 30-60+ minutes for my meal. Please read the Google reviews and take action, this is a very common occurrence. I would like to receive a call back regarding this situation from someone in leadership that can do something about this. This issue needs to be addressed with URGENCY. Read moreThis is the worst Sonic we have ever been to. If I could have given a lower rating I would have. We tried to order from the outdoor drive up menus but no one answered after 15 minutes of waiting after pushing the red button, so we joined the drive thru line. We waited almost 30 minutes and noticed all the vehicles ahead of us started driving away. At 9:03pm we got to the drive up and were told they closed at 9. We explained we had been waiting over 40 minutes, but the girl said "my manager says we closed at 9 and can't serve you." We asked for the manager JOSIE who again said "we closed at 9 and aren't allowed to serve." Not "allowed to serve" is not a normal restaurant policy- refusing to serve is what happened- she was the manager and certainly could have served those last customers. We explained again that we had been in line and it was their slow service that had made us be there beyond 9 (reminder it was only 3 minutes past 9 at this point). We explained that we had also waited at the drive up menus which she said "they close at 8. We don't answer after 8." There is no signage saying the drive ups close at 8. I have never been to any other restaurant that refused to serve someone based on their own inefficient service. I was a customer service manager for 14 years and we always had to wait on the customers who were already in or at our location.
