Bizarre Bar — Restaurant in Springfield

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this bar last night. The bouncer denied my real ID, which was frustrating enough, but the real issue was that he tried to keep it. This bar doesn’t even have a scanner to verify IDs but still insisted on taking my property without proof it was fake.

To make matters worse, the bouncer and security humiliated me in front of people I know, forcing me to wait outside in freezing weather for 30 minutes until a police officer finally arrived and confirmed that my ID was, in fact, real. I would have gladly left the bar when the issue started, but they refused to give me my property back despite having no way to verify it.

While the manager was kind and tried to handle the situation, the bouncer doubled down on his unprofessional behavior. He told my friends inside the bar that he didn’t like me and unapologetically said he had nothing to be sorry for after publicly embarrassing me.

This experience was beyond disrespectful and humiliating. If this is how they treat paying customers, I will absolutely not be returning, and I’ll be warning others about the way this...
