I've literally never had a more stressful pizza delivery in my life. I ordered a pizza last night on the caseys app and it never shows up. I check the app and doordash says they werent able to reach me in order to give me my pizza. The order says they werent allowed to drop it on the porch. I order from caseys all the time and they always just drop it on the porch. I didnt know they were going to be expecting me to wait by the door. I call the store to ask where it was and they tell me I'll have to call door dash so they can refund my money and reorder/redeliver my pizza. I call Doordarsh and they say they need to call caseys to confirm redelivery and then they come back and say caseys says they can't rediliver because they don't have the pizza and the dasher doesn't have it either. They then tell me I need to call Caseys back for a refund. I'm not sure I understand why they made me call doordash if they were just going to turn around and tell doordash they can't redeliver and they knew I couldn't get a refund from them. I call caseys and they say they can't do anything without a manager. 30 minutes later they tell me they can't get in touch with the manager and I leave my name, number and order number with them for the manager to issue me a refund and reach out. Manager was supposed to be there at 10:00 am. It's now 3:30 pm so I call again to ask for a refund and they tell me the manager isn't in and they'll be back in 30 minutes. At this point I've had to make 6 phone calls and I still haven't recieved my money or my pizza. I will not be ordering delivery from this caseys anymore. Read moreFirst, I'm typically a fan... BUT NOT today. My online pizza order was out of a topping so I was called before I left home. No so bad but when I got there, I still had to wait for my pizzas. That wouldn't be so bad but.. where's my breadsticks? I was literally told, "I didn't know anything about breadsticks" I'm not too upset with that employee because he was making due with the help he had which seemed to be slim. BTW, they were all stressed out over a Friday dinner rush (note to manager, it's Friday with snow in the forecast).. SO I finally get everything and we decide to pick up a couple candy bars from an endcap display (NOT the area where they all are) for a special deal. Only once we pay we realized we had over paid. NO, one of the '2 for' deal wasn't included so they were normal price. Did I mention it was the only one in the display that wasn't part of the deal. I know I'm rambling but 'bait and switch' comes to mind. Sad thing is we pointed out to an employee they had a sign up that expired in March (it is January). They are definitely a hard-working hotspot where you can fuel up, use a well-kept public rest room, but beer, cigarettes, and hot food in ten minutes or less. Thank you, Casey's, for following me from IOWA. On-line ordering needs work on order modification level. However, ordering was made some and suggestions for add-ons showed me Casey's cares about me and the choices I make. The order I placed was centered around a pizza, which I didn't get. I got two sides without the promotional code applied and paid the same ticket price as on the on-line order. They have no way of modifying orders in-store. Hopefully, I will find the time to rectify this issue, as thirty dollars means...
