Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

Wednesday - 09.15.25 at 7:30pm. Wow. Soooo much better than Dos Bros. Nicer. Cleaner. Large outdoor seating area for pretty weather! And it's cheaper!! I got double chicken and it was truly double, not half a scoop extra, like Dos Bros will pull on ya. Great staff. Professional and hard working staff - no one talking about customers in Hindi or any other language or dialect. Everyone was on top of their A-game and working that line. Employees were all professional and focused - getting the job done with no fooling around while people wait. The music is nicer!! So much easier to listen to and much more conducive to the atmosphere and ambience. The restaurant design is well done, including photos on the wall. I just wish they would have asked me for some photos of the local area. I have some artsy fartsy ones that would have been just as good as what they have.

To be fair - I do like the way Dos Bros does their chicken better. And I will miss the amazing jalapeño ranch that Dos Bros offers but I'll still probably stick with Chipotle for the reasons I mentioned above. Why can't we just get a good Qdoba instead, or maybe a Moe's? That would have been the best choice for this town.

ALSO: their bowls are much more flimsy so be careful they don't dump out all over the place in your car. Super flimsy cardboard. Dos Bros definitely does a better job with this.

Overall, I am super impressed and will be a repeat customer for sure. So glad Chipotle finally came to town. I have always loved this restaurant and now it's right here in my back yard. Definitely a good staff, great food,...

Bad, Bad service. I came in somewhere between 5-6 PM on the 18th of October 2025. Greeted a black lady behind the bar with the friendliest smile only for her to turn and start going on about how tired she was of making burritos. She made my burrito and was grilling my quesadilla, but she dropped it on the floor. Not only did she swear at it but she threw that thing without picking it up! No matter how tired you are you should never be treating your customers like absolute crap. Made me wonder why she was even working there to begin with. I’m never coming back for sure. Came in 3:30 Sunday. No one in line and one person in front of me having their order fixed. 4 other people milling around the prep area. No one said anything to us as people walked back and forth not cooking anything but talking to each other. The prep line was dirty and flies were present. I wanted to like this location. Maybe still too new but it felt slapped together and the people were unprofessional and even though we were at the front of the line ready to order we left because no one was coming to take orders or do much of anything else from what I could tell.
