I patronized this place for probably the last time today. The baristas usually act like I'm a burden to them, and as much as I've tried to convince myself that I'm wrong about this, I was very sure when I left there today that I got that treatment because I didn't look as much like an ironic hipster as everyone else walking in the door and being treated kindly. I hate that and I hate to say it, but that's just the way it is. I come in wearing the clothes I wear to work in a kitchen and I really think that the staff think that I wandered over from Victory Mission. Now, the problem there is, so what if I did? I didn't, but that isn't the point. I also accept and understand that people who own businesses and operate places like this on Commercial Street probably deal with a lot of people coming in that aren't there for anything other than just to be indoors for a moment and it can probably get a little tedious. But... isn't this place operated by Assemblies of God or am I mistaken about that? They sure do want to help victims of human trafficking and all sorts of hot-button bandwagon causes, which are all very important, and I'd never try to say they're not, but we live in a city that has a lot of causes of its own and I feel like if you go into Eurasia looking like you might belong to one of those causes, you're going to get treated unfairly. Now, all that being said, the coffee is really good. The Food is Almost comically overpriced, and if you have a question about anything on the menu that you don't understand, be prepared for the Barista to treat you like an idiot. But maybe that was just me. Maybe I just looked particularly like an idiot. I certainly left feeling like I must have. I think we have too many really good places for coffee in Springfield to let any one place get away with that. I couldn't even get a thank-you or a good morning, and I realize that everyone has a bad day once in a while and that everyone has to sometimes really manufacture that smile when they work in public service. I know that not everyone is feeling it everyday, so if it was a one-off experience I could be a little more forgiving, but it's every time I go in there. I honestly felt bad all day after starting my morning at...

This place is gorgeous. The design of the rooms and public lounges is well thought out and stunning to take in. The staff and fellow guests are all pleasant and smiling all the time.
However there were some problems we encountered in our stay. Our sweet was the Casablanca morocco, which was a larger room and super amazing! Our water, was a little messed up. The shower never would get hot no matter how long we waited or played with it. All of the faucets in the room had hot and cold water mixed up as well. The jacuzzi was amazing, but it does take about 40 minutes minimum to fill up enough to do anything. The sink as well had some drainage issues, which we weren't sure if that was normal.
Some things were also lacking in the room. We were staying for a wedding to get ready in the morning and didn't have an iron or ironing board in the room. We also couldn't find the wifi information easily, I'd maybe suggest a card on the table with the name and password for it.
All of that aside it really was a great experience and I would...
Read moreI really dislike giving bad reviews. I was very surprised by the attitude of the lady who took my order. Zero personality/rudeness. When my order was ready, she softly called my name. I wasn't quite sure if i heard my name or not but apparently she had called my name. She could've made eye contact and let me know when i didn't hear the first time. What really made me give a bad review was when i said thank you and she didn't reply. My girlfriend then said thank you and no reply. This is beyond rude. There were two women working the counter that day. A younger woman with red (ginger) hair who was really nice and polite. The other lady had dark brown hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt (or something long sleeved) . I don't know if she's the owner or a manager, but she really needs to consider a new line of work. Customer Service is not for her. Coffee was good. I was going to order food but the attitude was a deterrent. 8/21/2022 @...
