Express Chicken & Shrimp — Restaurant in Springfield

This is my go-to for fried fish! At one point ,and even still frequently, I get carry out from here more than once a week. If you love fried fish then this is the place. Great price for what you get. And I honestly would pay double that price if I it was priced accordingly. They also sell chicken, shrimp and more. Place is #1 in my book and ill forever be a customer. 5 stars across the board but I did give 4 for atmosphere. It's in the hood and set up with about 3 tables inside. Don't think ive ever seen anyone dining in. All the same...best place in town for fish. Thought Carter's held the crown...not even close..yeah....

I always get honey hot chicken/shrimp with lemon pepper fries. I’m totally addicted to it! I could eat it every day but I know that’s a bad idea. All of the girls that work there are sweet as pie 🥧 and the guys in the kitchen do their thing too. Even the momma will come in and work in the kitchen too. They just need to get a better understanding of the people and the culture of the people they serve so they will have very little conflict. My Uber cancelled on me 2 minutes before arriving to pick me up from work n take me to pick my food up. Well I had to wait for another one which look 16 minute so I got to the store at quarter to when I got there one of the cooks in the back looks like he wanted to literally slipped my throat and then got smart when I asked how long it was gonna be because I didn’t want my Uber to pull away.
