Hardee’s — Restaurant in Springfield

Finaly Hardee's has the Double western bacon cheeseburger. I loved this burger growing up in California, but it is not served here in Missouri year-round. it is an awesome burger. 2 beef patties, BBQ sauce, Bacon, and 2 onion rings. I can not eat onions so my burger did not have them. and the fries were hot. But I have to say the bacon was hard as a rock. It felt like I was chewing on pebbles. Hardee's if you are listening PLEASE bring this burger here year-round.

9/18/22 revisiting this Hardee's. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. When I got to the counter an employee came over immediately and took my order. He was smiling the whole time. He gave me the senior discount (I do not know if I qualify for it, and I am not going to ask. Thanks for the discount 😁😋) I got the double western bacon 🥓 cheeseburger 🍔 . And it was AWESOME. It was hot, the bacon was cooked right and tasted awesome 👌. The fries 🍟 were freshly cooked and hot. The soda what can I say, it was cold and wet. The employees are AWESOME, I did not get the employee name that took my order but he was nice and knew what he was doing with my request. This was an awesome experience. 1-19-22 BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT EVER AT THIS LOCATION. Got the Western bacon 🥓 cheese 🧀 burger 🍔 meal. The burger patty was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. But the BBQ sauce was good and there was a lot of it. The fries were cold and stale I guess they had been sitting around a while. The employees should be embarrassed to serve food like...

This is, by far, the best fast food restaurant in Springfield. The manager, Enrique, (I hope I spelled that right!) is just marvellous. The store is always clean. His people are polite, smiling, happy, quick. The food is fresh and delicious. Our orders are correct. The thing that stands out the most is Enrique himself. An elderly lady is at the counter, and he takes the time to explain cheaper options on the breakfast menu for her, to save her some money and get her a better deal. An older gentleman comes in and he greets him with a "Hey there! Where you been?" And the man lights up. He was missed. Another younger couple comes in wanting lunch, but it isn't quite lunch time yet so they start to leave. Enrique calls out to them and offers them something else, maybe, or how about a drink while they wait? The couple stops, comes back, and he gives them each a soda while they wait. This is a man that cares about his store, but he also cares about his people and his customers. We'll go back here...

Was disappointed in the service at this restaurant. I stopped by just before 9 pm to find the doors locked even though the sign says the lobby is open until 10PM every night. I was told they were deep cleaning the lobby though no one was out there working. My question is does the franchise owner know that their employees are closing the store early so they can "deep clean" or are the employees just closing it off early so they can get out earlier. I would guess the "deep cleaning" house on multiple times a week if not everyday. I bet they could look at receipts by register and find out how earlier the store is getting closed and question how it affects their business. I nearly went somewhere else because I didn't really want to go through the drive through. I wanted to come in sit down and enjoy a meal after a long day...
