I went to pick up some bread my friend had ordered, and the moment I walked up the smell just hit me. Warm, fresh sourdough practically calling my name. Honestly, I had to fight the urge to leap over the counter and devour everything in sight.

My friend has been serving me this bread for almost a year now, and it is hands down the best bread I’ve ever had. Now my friends and I have made it a tradition. Since we’re not lucky enough to live in Springfield, we place a big order so we can take loaves back home and stretch out the joy. The bread is always perfect, crusty, chewy, and flavorful, and the cookies are just as dangerous. One bite and you’re hooked.

I ordered two Alma loaves and an Askinosie cookie last week, and WOW I was blown away by these baked goods. Incredible sourdough bread that is kind to your gut and full of flavour. And the giant cookie…oh my goodness I’ve never had a cookie like it, so rich in flavour, not too sweet, chewy, amazing chocolate….the perfect cookie!!
