The Local Bevy — Local services in Springfield

My daughter took me here saying it was a cute place...and it was cute ..some things a little over priced but cute. I however will never go there again. After leaving the place we hear the owner yelling at us and quickly walking towards us flailing her arms. We thought we had forgotten something..but no she was accusing us of stealing. My daughter told her where she put the item at in her store and I offered that we go back in there and show her we had not stolen anything. She refused our offer of showing her where the item was and to prove we were not criminals and then she had the audacity to say she wasn't accusing us of stealing. My immediate thought was if someone is yelling at you flailing her arms and causing a scene saying we took something but then says she wasn't accusing us of stealing when she clearly knew she was in the wrong, well that's an unstable person and I don't do crazy. The woman didn't apologize for the scene she caused or for accusing us. Unless you like to be treated like a criminal I wouldn't go here. Oh and she doesn't believe in germs ..that's a whole...

Used to love this place... I brought my mom here for the first time to show her this store which I always thought was so cute and quaint. After looking around we were leaving to go back our car and the store owner came chasing after us screaming and yelling. We were confused and walked over to her wondering if we forgot something while there. She accused us of stealing from her store while looking around. Specifically a pair of earrings. We told her we didn’t and said we’d go inside together to show her they were still there. She refused and then tried to laugh it off like nothing. Didn’t think me or my mom were doing anything to raise concerns that we’d steal. We weren’t wearing masks, or hoods, or had big bags It definitely wasn’t a good impression and we won’t go back after this experience. It’s not a great feeling being accused of something you didn’t do. Especially when the owner is causing a scene yelling and chasing us down the sidewalk. If you want to shop here I guess be prepared to be accused of stealing if you...

Really cute artsy store with lots of locally made gift options. Nice scented candles (not too strongly scented), handmade jewellery, greeting cards, pottery, shirts, soaps and bath soaks. The guy working there was very friendly and gave lots of recommendations for things to do in the local neighbourhood. Also very close to other shops and restaurants in a lovely...
