Main Garden — Restaurant in Springfield

ordered a number of different items gave it a three-star for a number of reasons. There were good and bad the egg rolls were delicious,beef teriyaki, egg rolls, pork lo mein we're all very delicious as a high-end Chinese restaurant. Extreme disappointment with Sesame beef, The Family Combo there was definitely something wrong with the boneless spareribs those are very foul smell with I open it smells like bad dish water,The General Tao's chicken had No flavor whatsoever, The cthicken fingers were extremely greasy where I squoes it and grease was dripping out of it. I have Not tried the Teriyaki Chicken as I was afraid to and the roasted pork fried rice which is a bright yellow and hard had no flavor & The pint of duck sauce I paid for had no flavor as well I have never had that that problem with duck sauce not having any taste. So that is why we are giving a three-star as there was some good & some bad but the bad outweighed the good for the price. I'm hoping they read their reviews and give some constructive feedback to the chef and why there was no flavor especially in the sesame beef zero flavor it tasted like grease. I'm hoping they change the chef and /or help him understand that these dishes are supposed to be extremely flavorful to your palate. but all in all the experience with the order taker and the delivery person was extremely positive the food did arrive piping hot and a large quantity but no flavor I hope this...

So very, very disappointed Main Garden! We have been patrons for many years, generally pleased with the service and quality of the food, until this past Friday evening. After waiting almost 2 hours for our delivery, the quality of the food was an embarrassment and should have been disposed of before leaving the restaurant. Upon opening the carton of fried rice, we noticed the rice was dried-up white rice, not the usual brownish color, with bits of dried pork. The egg rolls were charred on top and the ribs in the pu pu platter were inedible, smelling tainted and were disposed of immediately. All the items in the carton were drenched in grease.

Very sorry to part ways, Main Garden, but had we eaten the bad pork we would have risked getting sick. I'm so disappointed that we can no longer patronize your...

Waiting an hour for 3 things. Really? Called 30 minutes afterwards and was told I didn’t place the order there and then was told the food wasn’t ready. Really for some soup with shrimp in Chinese vegetables and some sticks. I was told that they were very busy and the food did get there the sticks were cold. The shrimp dish was so damn spicy. You couldn’t even eat it. In the soup bland. No flavor. Just throw some hot peppers in it with water. Unfortunately, the food has no flavor it’s just spice you asked for garlic sauce and you just get a bunch of hot sauce mixed in you’re like where is the garlic sauce?
