When this coffee arrived into my hands, I knew the time had come for me to finally eschew my life that had come before this day and, finally, become a man. I was both exhilarated and frightened.
For my first trip into the realms of adulthood, I knew some precautions need be taken. I wore three pairs of pants that day, for safety, in anticipation for this delicious drink.
In only less two minutes I had a steaming cup of coffee and, I shamefully admit, I was afraid. Rather than the calming, youthful tan of other coffees, this coffee understood my weakness and would not allow itself to be brought down to my level. Instead, it would elevate me despite my attempts at self-sabotage.
Accepting that the trip into pubescence was fraught with many a peril, I again hung my head in shame before drinking deep from my elixir.
In the five days hence, I have had to shave ten times, my shirts ill fit, and my friends do not recognize me for my rippling Adonis-like physique. I hold three full time jobs, have built two homes with my bear hands (indeed, almost more claw and hair than actual hand, truly these are the paws of a great feral beast with which I share this message), and have sired a dozen children.
Perhaps man was not meant to ascend these lofty heights so swiftly. Perhaps the brand name of this brew is less a boast and more a warning. Perhaps. But that spectre cannot reach me now, not so long as I keep the pot hot and the filter cleaned.
Thank you, Ashley and Main Street coffee Co. Thank you for making me all I could be, and all...
Read moreFirst time through today and we'll be back! Really like that there are some savory food options available. The coffee has a mellow flavor and isn't too acidic. Not as robust a coffee as some other stands but we enjoyed our drinks: a cinnamon roll latte with whole milk and a latte with hemp milk.
Several alternative milk options! Hemp, almond, soy, oat, and coconut.
The biscuits and gravy were different but tasty. The biscuits have a good texture that is fluffy without falling apart and have some cheese in them. The gravy tasted more like stroganoff to me - not a bad thing, but different from usual breakfast gravy - and had both mushrooms and sausage.
Great customer service and nice having a non-chain drive thru with a couple of...
Read moreSomeone recommended this place to me yesterday for great, locally-roasted coffee and it did not disappoint! I'm pretty particular about my brew, having some serious sensitivity to acidic coffees, and being picky about the flavor too. I enjoy hot or iced Americano, with a splash of plant-based milk or creamer and have had some not-so-great experiences trying to find it- while paying way more than it was worth. Main Street Coffee poured me a cup of great-tasting, smooth coffee with just the right apunt of ice and oat milk, and confirmed that it's all roasted by the owner. The baristas were friendly and helpful too, giving me some great suggestions for local parks to check out for my afternoon hike. I will...
