Google says they should be open, their sign say “look at what your missing” yet no one is there :-/
Response to owner original comment to my simple review above:
Why harsh? The business was closed, your Google listing said you were open. Would you prefer I lie and say 4 stars?? What was I to give you the 4 stars for???
It was my wife’s birthday, very cold outside, so cold we had a light snowfall, early for Eugene seeing it was Nov 6 and we were looking for place to eat based on reviews. Your place had a perfect 5/5 review which is why I am sure your upset. We reviewed your reviews and were excited to eat at your place. Well guess what, we were disappointed as we got there only to find the business closed up. No note on the cart, no mention in the Google listing just closed up. You’d think you could have at least called one of the neighbor carts and asked them to post a sign saying out sick sorry.
While your food might be great your professionalism is lacking. I am sure you will learn from this, and grow your business. Next time we want to eat out maybe we will stop by again and we can edit this review to include things like food quality, quantity, cleanliness, friendliness etc, unfortunately we have never eaten at your place to make those statements and being closed when your listing says open earns you 1 star.
Response to the owners updated response. We are glad you choose the high road on your revised response. We will try you again as you do look like you have a tasty menu plan and you are close. We wish you well and hope all your dreams in business come true.
We have since gone and they were open :-). We did fine the establishment looked clean and they seem very sophisticated with all the electronic gadgets one might want. The service was 2 stars as the order taker didn’t seems to know the menu well and wanted to charge me $16 for a burger, no fries or drink. We choose there combo (burger and fry) which both were very tasty 👍🏼. I was the only person there and the order agent said it was going to take 20 minutes as there were many in front of me.
Conclusion: The food I had was very tasty and the tech while nothing new was cool to see at a food cart. The longer wait when I was the only person there, the very high price, and lack luster service will most likely keep me from coming back. I did up my original 1 star review to 2 stars. The place has strong potential but the price would be better suited for Beverly Hills no the poor...
Read moreFood is so yummy! It's definitely a little slice of the south in the PNW, especially the Sweet Tea (sweet exactly like in the south, not like the west coast). Everyone is friendly and funny and very welcoming to fur-babies. They are great at customizing the food so I personally am not a fan of spice (I can't handle simple seasoning lol) and I ask to not have it on my patty and they will make sure it's not on it, and even if something needs to be adjusted they are more than happy to fix it :). The blonde dude there is so nice even when they are busy, with lines, I saw them on a phone so I guess phone orders, and I saw on Grubhub they are on that too. Patience for those who claim 20 min for food is too long, food carts are mini restaurants not McDonald's. Oh garlic fries... mouth waters yumm....E. lol 😆 I will go there to fill my southern food needs...plus my do, he goes crazy!
P.S. Don't forget to smile and spread love and joy to our small...
Read moreFirst thing I tried was the chili cheese fries, which were flavorful, plentiful, and of high quality. The owner is a genuinely kind person, and his passion for cooking and serving food is evident. I've since sampled several menu items, including the burgers, which are exceptional—among the rare burgers that truly match their pictures. The fried pickle chips and fries, including the garlic fries, are also delicious. Tonight, I ordered the ¼-pound burger and smoked chicken wings, and they were some of the best I've ever tasted. I'm quite particular about wings, especially given their often high price and inconsistent quality. These wings were amazing; I had the pineapple BBQ wings (I'm not sure if that's the exact name), and they were perfectly spicy, with the right amount of sauce, excellent smoky flavor, perfectly cooked meat, and a very fair price for the quality. Five stars.
