McDonald's — Restaurant in Springfield

Went to this mcdonalds on 6/22/25 at around 7:40pm after a long 12hr shift of work and was met at the drive thru window by a young man in a black durag and blue shirt, not in a mcdonalds uniform. This young worker had one of the worst attitude I have ever encountered at a mcdonalds drive thru. The worker gave me 2 drinks and I politely asked for a cup holder twice and was completely ignored till my partner next to me mentioned it for a 3rd time and it was angrily given to us. Then, I was given the bag with food, but items were missing, so I tried to get the workers attention to let him know and he was trying his best to ignore us again. When I finally let him know about the items missing, he was really upset. Then, I really got him upset when I tried to catch his attention again cause I realized I was missing more items then i mentioned and the worker yelled "WE ARE ALREADY GETTING IT!" without even trying to hear what I had to say. In no moment was I disrespectful to this worker. Eventually, another older spanish male worker came, gave the worker at the window the bag and he handed the bag aggressively and things got out of hand after that. The worker and my partner began yelling at each other. I asked for a manager, but no one showed up and to avoid further escalation, I drove off. To the manager: you have to know your workers strengths and weaknesses or if they are having a bad day and place them at stations appropriately. This is the manager with the weight problem, yo defend my former general manager and rules they carry. We avoid having incidents in the bathroom such as incidents that required us to get the locks in the bathrooms. If your going to review something review it right i might not work there anymore but i would let you sit here and drag me on the floor for some plubicity. Whoops i didnt let your girlfriend use the bathroom. Maybe there was people already in the bathroom. And what about me being friendly with a certain ethnecity. Maybe that couldve have been my mother . Or a family member or a guest that spoke spanish and needed immidiate assistance. Its always full of individuals who are narcotics sellers ans users. Not that they are less of a human being however what i noticed os that there is no intervention pra tices in place to try and work with these individuals to get them the treatment they need. This place is a perfect target for community outreach workers not the police and because the focus is blurred the business suffers a traffic of wanderers who have no sahfety net but to sit in a place wherw they could sell their deugs and make plans to use them. The managers is a non responsive individual. Utilizes punitive tactics to try and evict such individuals which will fail.
