The Atmosphere: Walking in and seeing a pretty colors and decor, but no music? That alone set the tone to make it uncomfortable with the silence in the building.

The worker taking my order: The woman had no idea what she was doing and some others even tried to help but they all seem lost. She took about 2 to 4 minutes per order and even with the simple order I placed it took 3 minutes including the transaction (one drink). Not to mention cappuccinos are not on the menu? It’s a very simple hot drink. lol

The workers making the drinks: I’m going to start with people having no idea how to craft coffee. After managing a coffee shop for 4 years in total. I was unable to keep my eyes off of the confused workers. Starting with the woman saying they do not have cappuccinos, but the male worker making a Starbucks version of a macchiato / upside down vanilla latte. Vanilla, frothed milk, and 2 shots on top. That is what I saw him make which is not on the menu! If their method is to put every extra shot on top lol. Cleanliness: WOW I am genuinely disappointed. Seeing the lids get absolutely man handled on both sides and put on a drink. Workers touching hair / rubbing face and just getting right back to work without washing their hands.

To top all of this off. The worker “mixed” my drink with a long spoon but didn’t stick the spoon to the bottom of the cup. Which lead to syrup not mixed with the coffee.

This place has so much potential and it’s genuinely sad to see that it is poorly being run with workers that have no idea of what they are doing.

Lastly, these reviews saying there’s people filled in every seat and big lines does not mean it is fantastic. People are easy to please with coffee and some sweets. I am not ever returning and will gladly advise others to not waste their...

Sips and Scoops is a very clean and atmospheric area filled with plenty of seating for families and friends. As for the staff and coffee you'd have better service getting handed a glass Starbucks bottled coffee from a walmart employee. I was excited to try out this new place going in but was met with dead stares like walking into a room filled with Annabelle dolls. I mentioned it was my first time in and wasn't Given the slightest information of what made them different from other spots just a teen who mumbled through words trying to win the quietest employee of the month award. Overall the coffee itself was nothing special just typical flavor pumps behind the counter and some fancy chocolate swirls to distract you from the bad decision you made showing up in the first place. Give it a shot to see if your experience is different but I will not return and I would recommend avoiding it...

It is a cute idea, and the store inside is cute, but the workers killed it for me.

I'm not sure if it was just a bad day for them (although I went pretty early and there was only 3 tables), but the workers were very standoffish and not one person smiled at us or said hello.

The one who was taking my order in particular (unsure of her name because I didn't see a name tag, but a short blonde girl with blue eyes).. was super unwelcoming and rude, even after I explained that I've never been here before (definitely will not go back either.)
