6.2.16 ordered a small calzone. First off... you can't get Mozzarella pizza cheese on your calzone. "We don't put pizza cheese on our calzones. Only pizza. It's too expensive of a cheese." Direct quote. Mind you they serve pizza here as well... with mozzarella cheese. Instead you can choose from your standard deli cheeses and add in cheddar and ricotta for good measure.

Asked for bacon, onion, green peppers and pepperoni. Also ordered mozzarella sticks and macaroni and cheese for my 2 yr old.

Mozzarella sticks arrived first. Standard frozen blah sticks. Not surprised. Tasted average.

Macaroni and cheese and the calzone arrive. Mac and cheese? True to the "too expensive" theme the mac and cheese was none other than: box Kraft mac and cheese for $4. Well done! Don't put too much effort into it!

Now for the calzone. The little amount of provolone and cheddar that was on it was non existent. Mainly a puddle of oil left from the cheddar.

The dough was the most bland over salted under cooked dough I have ever had the displeasure of tasting.

Oh and the "bacon" sliced deli ham.

I took one bite and spit it out.

Grand total for one small 8" calzone, box mac and cheese, 6 mozzarella sticks, two 20oz bottled sodas and 10 Oz carton of chocolate milk?

$26.00

Not that the money is the issue. I would gladly have spent $36 for quality food. The crap we got for the money is the issue.

If I could give it negative...

I have been coming here for years with no problems. Recently the service has really gone downhill. If I could give them no stars, I would. My last few experiences were awful but this last one was our final straw. We made an Order for delivery and paid over the phone with our debit card. About 40 min. went by and we get a call from them. They tell me that our food is ready but they wont deliver to our address tonight because it was farther than they wanted to go. (We are in North Springfield) I explained that we have had many deliveries including one just a week ago. I was then told that they were “extra busy” tonight so if I wanted them to deliver they were going to charge me an additional delivery fee or I could meet the driver somewhere to get our food. I was speechless! Never have I had a business call and give me an ultimatum. Remind you that I had already paid. We have always been a fan of The Subway but we will no longer be giving them...

I ordered an 11" pepperoni pizza for delivery. Eight slices, and there wasn't enough pepperoni on the thing to work out to 2 pieces per slice. A $5 delivery fee was tacked on. There is no mention anywhere on the website that a fee is charged; I only found out because I asked why my $11 pizza had become $16 pizza. The young lady who took my order said the fee wasn't a tip, so I added one for the driver. When the driver arrived I asked him why he didn't get the fee, and he said he did. So, I paid more than $11 for a pizza that cost perhaps $1.50 to make, and spent $9 on the tip. I won't EVER patronize this...
