Unbelievable that a place like this exists in the middle of nowhere! First off, I've been to probably a thousand theaters and I've never been to one that has created an environment so professional and museum-like. I hope Springfield knows what they have, because I know so many other small towns would KILL for a theater like this, especially with so many closing across the country these past few years. I don't wanna go on and on, but I do want to elaborate on just what makes this so special in my view: They have ushers that check the theater during the movies, 3-4 times each showing to ensure patrons aren't ruining the experience for each other by keeping conversations to a bare minimum (if at all), no cell phone use is tolerated during the film. This, coupled with a SUPER clean environment and what seems to be a revolving themed museum that you would only see in Disney or Universal. So: Presentation was crisp, sound was robust with attention to sound clarity and visual focus that I rarely see in other theaters. So, the bummer, is this place is SO expensive to go to...just kidding, I paid less for a ticket, popcorn and soda all together here than I did for a single ticket at hundreds of other theaters. To be able to do everything this theater does at a fraction of the cost to go there compared to so many theaters, they must have made a deal with the devil. It is arguably the best theater I have ever been to, and that is including those ten million dollar jobs out in LA and Megaplexes across the country. One last thing: Customer service was great, but the staff is educated and stern when they need to be to rude customers and entitled patrons. I usually wouldn't make notation to this, but the staff was uber friendly but also able to put their foot down when someone else was ruining the experience, quickly and efficiently like they did in my theater. It is great to see a small business with such character and ingenious creativity. PPS: I also watched the owner buy snacks for a kid who didn't have enough money to get what he wanted. Ridiculously grand...
Read moreThese days, it’s easy to hear people rave about the convenience of watching movies at home. But let’s not forget what made us fall in love with the magic of the movies in the first place. This theater is a shining reminder of why going to the movies is an experience like no other you'll be able to replicate at home.
From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a cinematic wonderland. The lobby is like a living museum of movie history, showcasing an ever-changing collection of iconic props. On my visit, it was decked out with an impressive array of Beetlejuice memorabilia—pure nostalgia!
But the real magic happens when the lights dim. The screen is stunningly crisp—easily the clearest I’ve ever seen—and the sound system? Absolutely mind-blowing. Imagine audio so immersive it would make even George Lucas green with envy. Together, they create the perfect setting for an unforgettable movie experience.
What truly sets this theater apart, though, is the personal touch. After the movie, I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, whose passion for cinema and dedication to creating the ultimate movie-going experience shines through in every detail.
No matter how advanced your home setup is, it simply can’t replicate this level of magic. Do yourself a favor—skip the couch and treat yourself to a screening here. You’ll walk away with a deeper appreciation for the art of cinema and memories that last long after the...
Read moreMy fiancè and I went to the movies tonight, and they kept picking on us for whispering to eachother or even just holding eachother, there was only one other person in that movie while we were and he had his feet up, which is also against the rules, we got wrongly and falsely nagged several times while the one other person didn’t get spoken to once the whole time. Prices are decent for consumables and tickets but absolutely horrible manners and friendliness 🤦♂️ Lastly, we were not erratic or hostile or hyper at any time, the most we did was whisper to eachother in regards to the movie and hold eachother casually, the only one other person in that film at the same time as us couldn’t have been his son because he appeared to be quite old, furthermore if they thought we were such a threat anyways then they shouldn’t have let us go out to the concession stand again and get additional popcorn. The one guy was standing behind us for most of the movie as if their were some sort of bias against us personally like a creeper stalking someone. The other person had their feet up, throwing popcorn for most of the movie as well, so that fur Ty remote is biased against us and favoritism for the so called son or whoever it may have been. All around it is a decent theater but the staff has horrible manners...
