I want to start out by saying that I don't want to be "that guy" but I used to work at a Culver's for 4 years and, like this restaurant, the Culver's I worked at had also just opened when I started working there. So believe me when I say that I understand how hard it is to work at a place like this. It was probably one of if not the hardest jobs I've ever had. And I always try to be positive and patient in my reviews. But with all that in mind, this was easily the worst dining experience I have ever had. First off, when we got in the lobby there were maybe 2 or 3 tables with patrons already eating, The register area was vacant and took about 5 minutes before someone came up to it, which is not really that big of a deal to me since we had already ordered online. But it immediately set the tone for what was about to happen next. I went to the restroom to wash my hands only to find that the light was out. I did not see a light switch and thought maybe it was motion detected? As far as I could tell it was not as if I had gone in any further I would've had to let go of the door which I really didn't feel like doing, so I just walked back out into the lobby. When an employee did come to the register she still did not greet or acknowledge us to which we then informed her that we had a mobile order put in. She asked for the name and then walked into the back area for another 10 minutes while other customers started walking in. While this was going on I saw, in the kitchen area, at least 2 employees walking around aimlessly who clearly were not doing anything. At this point I'm starting to realize that this restaurant has a pretty obvious management issue. It really seems like they aren't investing time into properly training their employees before scheduling them to work on their own without assistance and I could very clearly tell that the manager was either, not present at all, also had no idea what they were doing, or was overwhelmed by the amount of new employees who had no idea what to do. My guess is the last since I only saw one person who looked like they had a manager's uniform on and the amount of employees there tonight definitely should have had at least another manager or 2 to help out. By the time we got our food 4 other people who came in after us got theirs, which still isn't a big deal, except for the fact that it took 30 minutes for us to get ours. When we finally got it we took it home and finally got eating and realized that our fries and onion rings were cold. Not just a "10 minute drive home" cold. More like "these have been sitting in a bag for 5 minutes before they even got to us" cold. I have realistic expectations for how warm our food will be after a 10 minute drive and could tell that they were not very fresh. Again, all of these things are fine on their own, but adding them together is really disappointing and frustrating. I ordered the chili burger and was greeted to a burger without chili on it. I don't really care if you miss like, ketchup or onions on my burger. But when I pay extra for a topping or side dish it really REALLY sucks when it gets missed. What they did put on my burger was a seriously overkill amount of lettuce and mustard. SO much mustard. All I could taste on my burger was mustard and some onion. The picture is hard to tell exactly how much there is but all of the yellow on the lettuce is mustard, not the color of the lettuce. I'm not sure if they have a weird thing about mustard here but it felt like even if their gimmick was "we make sure you get a taste of mustard every bite!" It still would've been overkill. It was literally so much that I actually started forgetting I was eating a burger and not just dipping bread in mustard. Overall I'm really annoyed by this place because I've heard such good things and I do think they have good food to offer but it REALLY feels like they are opening so many stores that quality control has gone out the window. This restaurant needs to either: get better, or close so that something good can take its place.

Whatever you do… don’t order water cups. We ordered 3 chocolate shakes… plus 3 burgers. Our bill was $30. We asked for 2 water cups why we waited… when our burgers came there were no chocolate shakes. The cashier said since we got two water cups we don’t get shakes. I said excuse me I ordered 3 chocolate shakes. The lady came back with one chocolate shake… so we paid $6 for two water cups. We purchased 3 chocolate shakes only got one… the cashier did not even want to give me the one shake. Horrible customer service… I’m reporting this to better business bureau. They want $30 for very little servings of food. Don’t ask for water cups at Whataburger. That’s my lesson learned….water cost $0.00 on the ap. Update: we talk to the manager on the phone Matt we got our chocolate and vanilla shakes! Yay! Delicious! Just call on the phone and explain the manager will help you.

Whataburger is usually one of my top fast-food spots. I've always been impressed with their food and service across different locations. However, my recent visit here was a bit disappointing. I was in a hurry, and the service was slower than usual, despite not being busy. The operations behind the counter seemed chaotic, and not that of a well oiled machine, as the employees’ actions typically display. More importantly, I paid extra for 3 BBQ sauces that I didn't receive with my order. I know mistakes happen, and I'm not upset with the staff, but it was still frustrating to pay for something and not receive it.

This is for 2 days. I will also include why I got a free meal. I did the survey I was given because my daughter specifically said she has a soy and fish allergy and the au ju at most places is fish or soy based so we asked for none on her burger. It was on her burger!!!! And the person who took the order made sure she told the cooks. we also order 2 large banana milkshakes because I've had them b4 and I know how good they are. We were served medium and i told the girl they were a large, taking them back she was cursing under her breath. Spoke to the manager since he was walking around checking on everyone. In the end I received an email for a free meal and a shake. After not being told I had to go back to the same one I finally (šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø) made it. The food this time was good, I got a grilled chicken. But the attitudes were not the best. Sorry you had to give away a freebie because of the first incident. Took my other daughter because it's been a while since she's been to a whataburger. Anyway, I had ordered a Chicken Sandwich and a Banana Milkshake, to much sauce! The lettuce was limp and turning black! She got the Mushroom burger way too much sauce, banana milkshakes are not larges. The atmosphere was so so. The kid that was taking orders didn't seem like he knew to much of what he was doing he seemed very confused 😐. I give them kudos because I...

Rename this location Whataproblem. Wife sent me to pick up food for the family because she didn’t want to make dinner and finally get a break. She made the order at 5:45pm to be picked up at 6:15. I get there at 6:15 and wait in line for 10 mins (only one person in front of me). I check in and Vixa (name?) tells me it’ll be 20 mins. She said the food is made when you check in, not the time you request online. A little inconvenient but I can wait 20mins. My name gets called 3 different times on accident during my wait only to be told ā€œoh wait, hold onā€. The last time she called my name was 6:55pm and Vixa brings the food out. Waited 45 mins. I said thank you, grabbed the food and left (I assumed the order was right). Got home (7mins away) to find a whole missing entree ($11 salad!) and fries! You’re kidding me! On top of all that, the missing entree was my wife’s meal (the one that wanted the break). She ended up making dinner for herself after all. This place has problems....
