My family came to Tennessee on Tuesday (8th), evacuating from hurricane Milton. On Friday, (12th), my brother in-law wanted to have dinner at Willie Mae's, specifically for the brisket. We arrived (party of 5) at 4:45 PM. At this time, there was one other couple in the restaurant, waiting for their food. Upon ordering, unfortunately, and once again, they were out of brisket. The young lady taking the orders appeared to be busy with other things as well as taking orders (bagging take out deliveries, etc...) By the time the young lady finished our order, it was 4:55 PM. We finally received our dine in meal at 5:20 PM. How does it take 25 minutes to get food that has already been cooked when there is only 1 other customer in the restaurant?? Needless to say, the food was room temperature at best. The sausage and pork were dry and WAY TO SMOKY tasting. The Texas toast was just that, toasted white bread. I have been a frequent Willie Mae's customer for quite some time; however, our last 3 visits, the food was not good at all. Willie Mae's, I am so disappointed and do not know what has happed to the quality of your food, but you definitely need to step it up! We will be taking a break from your establishment and hope that things change in the...

ok so first off the brisket served by youthful cheerful girls is good obviously some days are better than others that is true anytime you are cooking barbeque. The recent floor expansion bringing in the bar beer business brought on some costs to the valued loyal customer. So the same sandwich that used to cost 7.99 is not about 10-11 bucks (granted the amount of brisket you get its still a good deal)

I asked the somewhat stressed barely out of high school young lady how much for the 12 oz draft coors and she had to look up the price...the smallest coors draft will cost you 4.00 bucks (cash price) and with the tax $4.38 cents I'm sorry but that is too much for a draft beer in springfield. This is not nashville neighboring clarksville has drafts most costing 2.50 to 3.00 and springfield is more of a dive town than clarksville so why the increase in price? Fix the beer prices...

We gonna do a whole story time. And yeah i got proof an pictures an text messages. They do the hourly employees DIRTY... They take the tips an are supposed to split them between the Hourly workers based off hours worked. Simple right?? Well they feel that one employee that is on salary an makes $50,000 a year, around $1,000 week should be included on the tip pool as well. And all it did was Drastically take away from the lesser paid workers. And when u ask why that was happening you get FIRED.. Thats the message i sent the owner Matt Richardson and was fired for asking a question before Christmas. I was nothing but loyal to them an got stabbed in the back. Dont worry im post the pictures of the kitchen later a cleanliness of it!! You be shocked with some of the things i can show...

We arrived at 3pm and they were sold out of their beef brisket for lunch so we didn’t have a chance to try it. We ordered the pick 3 plate and choose three types of bbq to sample. The pork spare ribs stood out, the chicken dark meat quarter and the pulled pork were slightly dry but probably would have been perfect at lunch. They even offered us a freshly pulled chicken sandwich if we preferred. The potato salad was tasty but the green beans were too salty. They have six different bbq sauces which I found amazing and fun to try. We finished with the best banana pudding we’ve had in a long time. The folks who work here were great. We were so happy to see them back open. I can’t wait to comeback and try their beef brisket.

The brisket was so tender and juicy. The flavor profile was perfect. For sides we had the green beans and macaroni and cheese. They have sweet cornbread. They were good, but nothing to rave about. The ribs were on point!!!! Fall off the bone and fingerlicking good. They were cooked to perfection. Portions were generous. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Low lighting. Restrooms were clean. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back. Parking was easy, but backing back out of the parking dpace took some patience.

Customer service was poor and seemed a bit racial, which was confirmed by the meal, however the pulled pork was to taste and the macaroni was surprisingly tasty as well. The baked beans were edible but the chicken that was bought out to the table was burnt and dried out and far from edible, it even smelled burnt. When I spoke to them about the burnt meat the girl at the counter smirked. The chicken was replaced by the cold but Golden brown chicken that was already sitting out on the counter when I walked in.
