Today was my first opportunity to try Senshi. I'm so happy I stopped by. I'm feeling under the weather and Miso soup is my go to "sick soup" however that's coming soon (I can't wait). So I ordered egg rolls and a spicy tuna roll to go with a coke while I waited. The lady at the front was so very nice. So nice. She brought me a super cold can of coke with a straw 💗 I very much appreciated that. I got my order in a very reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed so it was nice to take a few minutes to stop after rushing around doing prom prep all morning. The egg rolls here are likely my new obsession and I will probably be back tomorrow. Those were the comfort food I didn't know I needed. Excellent and the sauce made them spectacular 👌. The spicy tuna roll was so perfect and fresh. Its the roll I order to judge all new sushi restaurants I try...and this was excellent. I typically try salmon sashimi to judge a restaurant as well, however, that will come at a later visit when I'm feeling better and can actually enjoy all that fresh salmon has to offer. I'm very happy Springtown has sushi. Thank you for helping me feel better today. I'll be back for egg rolls tomorrow...and probably a spicy...
Read moreDo not waste your money here. My wife and I were so excited about a new Japanese restaurant in Springtown. We ordered to go, Steak hibachi, Shrimp Teriyaki, the most bland tasteless Asian food I've ever had. The owners are not professional and after telling my wife 3 times they would call her back about her concerns, they actually blocked her phone #. She was not rude when she called them, really felt funny doing it , but we spent almost $70 and the only thing we were able to eat was the Goshen roll,so she wanted to let them know. They were so rude and disrespectful to her, actually asked us if we had taken photos of the uneaten food. I also want to add that when my wife finally got to talk to the someone that asked her if she had taken pics of the food, they had asked her name and when given then asked if she had recently written a review. Soo..kinda sounds like someone got a little mad about that😡🙁 And if you'll notice, most good reviews are on their sushi, not their food To actually block a customer's phone number when they are clearly just trying to talk to someone and not getting called...
Read moreNice little restaurant in old downtown Springtown. We arrived around 2 pm so it was not crowded. The place was very clean and nicely appointed. Our server let us know she was new, and she did a great job. We were never in need of anything. The menu had a nice selection, and we settled on fried dumplings, hibachi steak, and fried rice with wagyu beef. Our food came out hot and looked awesome. Taste-wise, though, it was just ok. The dumplings reminded me of store bought, the fried rice portion size was small for the price and the taste was bland (i had to salt the food for taste), and the hibachi steak was the best meal of the night. The steak was flavorful, and the veggies/rice were good. The only real downer was that while there were only 2 couples dining, there were three gentlemen (one seemed to be with the restaurant) in the middle of the room talking so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. This place seems to have a lot of potential, and we will try again in the future. However, for a $75 meal for two, it will have to be better than our first visit to keep us...
