My wife and I went to this establishment with great anticipation of what we had heard from others in our community for our Anniversary the evening of Aug 2. The staff that greeted us were very kind. The ambiance was great! Our server was clearly new to the establishment and a bit scattered. We initially ordered and sometime later the server returned to let us know they were out of what we ordered. We then ordered something different (that was not on the online menu we had previewed) but we went with it anyways. The drinks we ordered were prepared and sat at the bar for quite some time before the server realized they were there, getting watered down. When the entree arrived, I was very surprised at the portion size (specifically for the pasta) as the price for this meal was above and beyond any average restaurant. With the cost of the meal, drinks and tip I expected a better experience. When we left, I wanted to do a review that night, but we decided to wait until we visited again. That is until the establishment posted on their social media that they wanted patrons to post positive reviews to squash out the people leaving negative ones. When my wife shared our experience at their establishment the owner/social media key board warrior removed our experience, trolled her profile and clearly does not want to receive any type of constructive criticism for what some of us have encountered while dinning there. Prior to today we would have gone back and gave them another try, but now I know how the management handles people that received less that expected experiences. We are a big proponent of supporting small business, have a small business and live in this town, but we will not go back based on the response that was received and removed when she shared our experience. It could have easily been handled by suggesting we give them another try, but instead this establishment chose not to take ownership and treat a local community member like crap because we did not think we received 5 star service and brought it to...
Read moreWhat a wonderful experience in a smaller town outside of Fort Worth. The food was excellent, service was very good as well. Not the same as a high end downtown Fort Worth or Dallas, but a perfect fit for this restaurant. We happened to go during Parker County Restaurant week, so the value was definitely there. However the regular menu pricing looked while not low, were in line the what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant in Springtown. I had the Wagu Flatiron Steak which was prepared wonderfully at medium rare, it came with a house salad and Mashed potatoes. Steak was drizzes with a chimichurri sauce that was the perfect amount for presentation and taste. I also had the Lemon-Blueberry heaven which is a take on cheesecake serve similarly to a parfait. My wife has the Lobster Ravioli which she said was amazing along the a Caesar Salad finishing with the Salted Chocolate Cake. The portion sizes here are the right size for a quality meal that did not to overwhelm with quantity with the exception of the Salted Chocolate Cake which was huge. While we did not order appetizers, there is a nice selection on the menu. If your interested there is a nice selection of drinks and wines. We will have this on our list to return to and would recommend to anyone that is wanted a fine dining experience that is wonderful and a bit more...
Read moreAte at this place for the first time five days ago and got food poisoning. Super disappointing given the reviews and what I've heard from others. Aside from breakfast the same day at 5am this was the only other meal I had which was at 6:30. Shared appetizers with several others in our party. We each ordered a different entre; I ordered the waghyu picanha. Had a fake smoke taste to it and was on the tough side. Unless I get a hair or some other big issue with food, I never send it back but sure should've. Fast forward an hour or so later, I'm puking nothing but that terrible steak. Made for a nice night and early morning let me tell you. Aside from this the waitress we had was a joke. Don't get me wrong, she was nice but way too talkative and seemed like she lacked common sense. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. It's a shame too as we don't have a lot of nice restaurants in the area. I should've stuck to Sweetie Pies Ribeyes in Decatur as over 15 years there I've never had a bad meal and the service is amazing. That or perhaps I should've walked a few doors down to Senshi Grill & Sushi as they have excellent food and service as well. First time and last time visiting this...
