I went to Taco Bell in Springville Alabama around 11:15p.m. it was the only fast food place around our little open. When I proceeded to order they didnât have any steak or anything fried. The employee over the head set said they could make anything after 11:00 p.m. which I understand. So I proceeded to order cinnamon bonds . They only had two and told me yhey could not frie any after 11:00 p.m. which I understand. But hello manger, general manger you figured that your employees would know you have to have enough food and sweets made to last till quitting time at 12:00 a.m. or atleast close enough to quiting time. So after only being able to order 4 soft taco I ordered the new green apple slush with caramel . He proceeded to tell me that he put 6 Squirts of caramel in my slush. I offered to bring it back and let him see. He then went on to tell me he didnât need to see it that he made it and knew how much was in there and that Iâm blind and was just trying to cause trouble and wanting free food. I told him I didnât mind paying for the caramel or the extra caramel and I was not blind I could see very well. I then asked when the general Manager would be in. He said he was the general manager.    Read moreNo respect for truck drivers. Co-driver and I were walking up @ 9:50pm and just before we get to the door, an employee starts locking it. Said dining room is now closed. Told him we're truck drivers, can we walk through the drive thru since our big rig obviously will not fit and he said yes. As we get up to the order speaker, another employee comes out and asks what we're doing and that we can't walk through. So we told him we're truck drivers and that the first guy locking the door said we could. He shrugs, says I don't know what to tell you... but you can't walk through and just walks off. The whole time this happened, we were the only ones there and not a single car was in the drive thru eithor.... so what's the big deal? We have had to do this at many other places because of covid closing dining rooms and have never had a problem before, especially once we tell them we are truck drivers and a big rig...

Taco Bell might satisfy hunger in the short term, but the real price is paid by communities, small business owners, and a future where convenience crushes quality.
But the cheesy gordita...
